If you like warm, genuine, unpretentious, and authentic people then you will love this little gem. Constantin and Adriana are warm and open and full of a lifetime of stories from their vivid and colorful life. The BNB itself is a historical building filled with the sort of eccentric charm you hope to find in legendary California cities like Santa Cruz, Berkeley, or Marin. It does not disappoint. The breakfast was plentiful complete with warm eggs any style you wished, options ranging from freshly made French toast to buttery heated croissants, a wide variety of fresh raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries, as well as a wide variety of juices, teas, breakfast cereals, and most all of it organic or close to organic. The rooms themselves were cozy and comfortable. And the main dining area was a gem with colorful stain glass creating a magical environment with sunshine streaming in through the windows. The beach and downtown are just a short walk away. And the other guests are unassuming and drawn to Santa Cruz for the university or an off-the-beaten path metal working class or a child poetry competition. Truly a unique experience that left us feeling recharged and relaxed and lucky to have met such a kind and lovely family.

Lovely hosts! Homey feel. Very close (walkable) to Boardwalk & beach. Limited outlets for charging. Wi-Fi better downstairs in breakfast area than room.

Amazingly beautiful and our hosts are beautiful souls. The tv could be flat screen a little bigger cuz us old folks can't see a 13 inch is all blur. Lol ... Maybe we're not suppose to be watching tv. We did hours of site seeing and now tired. We're excited for breakfast in the morning.
