Walking in, you’ll see an impressive lobby entrance with light house music upstairs. Cocktail drinks and interesting art. Business casual attire. No jeans or T Shirts. However we bought a table and had to wait to be seated downstairs about 20 minutes. Downstairs, we were escorted to the table- The basement has a very European underground house vibe but the DJ was playing mostly hip hop throwbacks of the 2010. All night. Playing Flo Rida , Sean Paul, and Nelly like they were fresh hits off the charts. I like them but it felt like the hype music you dance to at a wedding. The club feels like it should have more dance/house music downstairs. We enjoyed our time but aren’t craving to go back anytime soon. I’ll return if they have a big name DJ show up. Update 10/15 We returned. Saturday night tables. Staff was friendly, servers were great. Music was very niche.mainly Jamaican House Still has tons of potential; by 12:30 we were the only people in the lower club. No one on the dance floorbesides a table in the back. We decided to leave early. Also, dress code didn’t seem to be enforced. Bar accessibility 4/5 Restroom access 5/5 Line processing 5/5 Aesthetic and atmosphere 5/5 Music 1/5
I have been here on numerous occasions all invited for private events etc, I have also previewed it several times before opening to public. Bazal is a one of kind concept here in Charlotte. Art & nightlife scene combined is absolutely genius. Art gallery upstairs and the downstairs an actual lounge. Two separate vibes from upstairs to downstairs.
Went last Friday night and had the BEST time ever. The DJ was amazing, felt like I was in New York… Great music and delicious drinks! And ladies - free champagne for us!
Beautiful spot had really high hopes for this place especially because QC social lounge is one of my favorite spots, but this sadly let me down. Upstairs has a nice vibe with cool artwork and light house music and love the upscale dress code, however… downstairs is a fail. It’s beautiful and sexy And dark But omg the DJ ruins it by playing wedding reception songs. I love good house music and hip Hop but not hits from 2005. It would be nice to enjoy something different than what the usual clubs around Charlotte play. Hopefully they find better DJs and I think it would be more successful. Service is great, drinks are great but music is not good. Chris the bartender is the freaking best and the reason we go back.
Loved the vibe and the DJ upstairs. Charlotte needs more clubs with house music. Downstairs felt like a high school party with rap music. I wish the house music was downstairs too, that would be a game changer! Cheers to being newly open! We will certainly come back. Good drinks and friendly staff!
Amazing experience! This place is the real deal & the most fun I’ve had at a nightclub in CLT! Will def be a regular here. Love how there are two separate vibes. Beautiful more chill upstairs, and lounge/DJ/dance downstairs. The cocktails are amazing also upstairs. What a great addition in Charlotte!
Amazing ambiance and atmosphere!! The staffs are super nice and friendly. Just know that this will be BEST in Charlotte for sure. Also, I don’t even smoke hookah but Quin’s Hookah changed my mind, I loved every moment of it
Bazal Gallery offers the best ambiance in any Charlotte's night club the city has to offer. They are real different. The security are on point and their staff are friendly. This place is the whole package for a great time! The Hookah they offer is also unique and amazing!!I'll definetly will be back again! Would recommend 10/10
10/10 would recommend. We hosted a private event for a birthday party, and Every single person was raving about how beautiful the space was. The owner is amazing, staff was wonderful and the drinks were phenomenal. Charlotte is proud has such a gem! Can’t recommend this place enough
Went with friends for a birthday party and had a table reserved. Really liked the feel of the downstairs “club.” Cool tables and a smallish dance floor and bar. The failure here is two part: the service and the awful DJ. It took at least 20 minutes to get drinks even with bottle service, and our server kinda acted like she had no idea what she was doing. People pay a fair amount for bottle service to feel special as superficial as it may be but they missed here. Also, the DJ was all over the place with the set list…you want 2000’s hip hop, 2020 reggaeton and a smattering of trap? You can have it all in one terrible set on Friday night. Def agree that a dancier/housier vibe would be better…at least something cohesive.
