Colonial Pet Cremation Services

Well it's been a few weeks and I finally feel I want to share my experience. What can I say but Christian!!! From the first phone call just before Easter Sunday Weekend, not knowing how and when this heartbreaking process of losing my little one would happen, Christian reassured me that he would be available and would be there when needed. My little one passed on Saturday. I called and Christian was able to bring us in that day. From the moment we got there Christian's service, warmth, and attention to detail was impeccable. I felt every detail I wanted for my little one (and I had many) was met without question. HE JUST GOT IT COMPLETELY!! He turned what I call one of the most stressful and painful days in my life, into one that I can look back on and say, " It turned out to be a beautiful experience for my little one and my family." Amazing place. Will recommend to others in need of these services. From the second that he answered my first phone call to the minute we walked out the door when it was done, Tim was kind, patient and peaceful. Inside the building is spotless. Complete communication throughout the whole process. Tim gave me and my son the option to be or not be present for each step. If cremation is what you choose after your pet passes away, you will not regret contacting them. Sue Forgue

I lost my dog of 15 years unexpectedly. The pain was indescribable, not mention that the stress not knowing what to do. I want to find the best place possible for his final service, a private cremation. I want to make sure he was respected, he was a proud dog all his life. I want to be with him every moment for his last journey, so that to be sure it is him that I bring back home. I did a search online and called Colonial Pet Cremation Services in Oxford. The phone was answered promptly. My questions were answered and the procedure explained in just a few minutes. I knew then this is the place. They scheduled me to come in the next day as I wished ( I wish I remembered the two gentlemen's name who helped us, they were very considerate, I can only provide the time they helped us, May 11, 10am). We went the next day, they were gentle, respectful and very polite. They explained every step, let me accompanied my dog all the way until he was sent in. The experience was as smooth as it could be, leaving me peace of mind that my beloved Otto had his last moment in good hands. The place was clean, bright, simple and appropriately decorated. My Otto would liked it if he could tell me. I usually don't write online reviews, but I want to write this one so the two gentlemen know, how much it meant to me. I also want to let other grieving pet parents know that, this is the place for their beloved pets. Jian

This place has true professionalism at what they do with the deepest empathy and compassion for you and your lost pet... everything was handled with exreme care and respect.
