I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CWRC. Our IVF journey started with Drs. Park and Rudick in 2011 - we had immediate success, transferring two 5d embryos, then having boy/girl twins at term. They are now 5 1/2 years old - a dream come true. I was 35 y/o. One 6d embryo remained from that cycle and we elected to freeze and store at CRWC. That experience was great.
Flash forward to 2014, we were considering adding to our family (crazy?!?!) but we had moved to Oregon. We discussed how best to proceed with an IVF center locally and they recommended against shipping the frozen embryo due to possible damage that could be caused en route, so we decided to engage with CWRC again, this time long distance. We were assigned to Dr Guarnachia (everyone else was too busy/popular?) and the experience was disappointing. We NEVER got to talk to him directly regarding our plan - communications via his nurse(s) were inconsistent, ineffective, and ultimately a waste of time - very frustrating. Discouraged, we reluctantly pushed pause on the process for a while.
Early this Fall, we finally felt ready to try to push things along again - nervously anticipating difficulty from CWRC but determined to do the work necessary to complete an FET long distance. The experience was a complete 180 from what it was like in 2014. I got an immediate and respectful response from the nurses, and a phone consultation scheduled w Dr Forman right away. He was positive and kind, as well as agreeable to working with me from a distance. It was amazing. He encouraged me to call or email him personally if I had any questions or concerns. Every time I made a request (whether it be clarification on the plan, medications, billing, or scheduling) I received a thoughtful, complete, and timely reply - from everyone. The FET occurred in late October and we are now 10w pregnant. I am 40 y/o.
Although our personal fertility chapter and relationship with CWRC is now closed (no more frozen embryos!) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CWRC to others - they are the best. I have also heard they are getting ready for a much needed remodel of their space - which should go a long way in making their clients feel even better about the excellent care they offer.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! There is NO relationship w any of the nurses and they don't read your chart before speaking to you, you will NEVER reach a live person when you have a medical question, you will see a different doctor EVERY time you go, their bedside manner is HORRIBLE and they don't know anything about you, NO coordination of care, NO plan for care, billing is incompetent and I could NEVER get the doctor I was using (Lobo) on the phone. Ever. I wish someone had warned us. STAY AWAY!!! There are so many great practices in the city. Do some research and find one.

Just spoke to the most rude receptionist I've ever encountered. I was referred to Columbia Doctors by my healthcare provider and the lady I spoke to at 8:45 am on June 2nd had a terrible attitude when I asked basic questions, sighed multiple times and said "Oh my God" when I wasn't understanding the information she poorly communicated. I ended up hanging up and will take my business elsewhere. She should not be the voice/face of any business.

Dr is great but as getting an appointment is not a pleasant experience. Go because my doctor is very good. Wish i could transplant him to another location.

If you want to be treated like cattle and are ok with basic care for lots of money where they don't care if you have failed cycle after failed cycle this is the place for you.
