I’m pretty sure the girls here have seen me cry more than most of my family members. Our first visit here was with our goofy Great Dane puppy Sylvie for her shots-soon followed by an incident involving a tall compression sock that was ingested. Sylvie is alive and well thanks to sock retrieval + playtime at Club Mutts. What has moved me most was our most recent visit- We had to lay our 14 year old Dane to rest; the girls were so very empathetic and kind during the process including a thoughtful call prior to the appointment. Dr. Harmon was very genuine and comforting during the procedure. I just received a hand-written card with kind words that brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for taking care of my family.
We’ve always loved the people & the care they provide for our 2 pups here at Pet Wellness but recently when our 13 yo Yorkie, Trooper, was suffering from a brain tumor & was ready for Heaven, they took the meaning of “care” to another level. Dr Rutter & her staff Ashleigh, Amanda, Drew, Nicholas... showed us that they care not only for our furry family members... but for us as well. They made the excruciating experience of saying goodby as beautiful and calming as humanly possible. Dr Rutter is an angel. She truly is practicing her calling & you will fall in love with her. If you are looking for someone to trust with your pets, our experiences over the past 3 years with the Drs and staff here have ranged from excellent to over-the-top amazing... especially when it mattered most. To the Pet Wellness Team: A heartfelt thank you for the loving & amazing care, check-in calls, quick appointments, 24 hour support & genuine empathy that you have provided our family. You are the BEST!
Took my kitten here on Thursday 10/20. Pet wellness was able to get us in for an appointment the same day I called. So convenient! Dr. Fowler was amazing and took the time to answer all my questions. Ashleigh, the assistant, was very gentle with Gus and kept him calm. The process was so smooth start to finish. We will definitely be back with our other fur babies!
I have been bringing my cat Malibu here for 2 years and will refuse to take her any where else! The staff is so friendly and everyone genuinely cares about the animals. I have zero complaints, and fully trust these people and their judgement when taking care of Malibu. They are always of great help and go above and beyond for a great price. They’re the best!! 10/10
Dr. Rutter, Dr. Harmon and the rest of the staff are awesome! They all go above and beyond. We recently had to admit our sick dog for 3 days, due to high fever and pneumonia. They constantly kept us updated each day, as well as helped us keep the cost down. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else. We are a super grateful for these guys!
I took my dog to the Club Mutts Doggy Day Care last week. While under the care of the veterinarian and his staff, my dog was attacked by another dog. Fortunately, I received a text advising me of the incident. Unfortunately, they didn't advise me I would be fully charged for the vet to treat the wounds from the attack due to their lack of supervision and unprofessional care. This was the second incident. The first incident happened earlier this year. Due to their lack of supervision at Club Mutts, my dog suffered injuries to his paws. His paws were bleeding and the pads fell off leaving him not able to walk for several days. After the second incident, I called the owner of the clinic to express my concerns. She made excuses on how the incident was not the fault of the staff and dismissed my concerns.
The staff is for the most part very friendly. I’ve been taking my dog here for a couple of years as my prior vet retired. The vets are thorough. It is a bit n the pricy side.
Let me just tell you about this place that you not care for your animals they not care lol all they want is your money half of the employees do not know what they’re doing at this job please do not bring your animals to this place take them somewhere else the owner of this company only cares for the money not the dogs she instead of to a lot of people half of the staff don’t know how to do their job there at all please take your baby somewhere else and trust me I know I work there and I’m so happy I’m out of there But if I was you I would take your animals somewhere else you will find better place then this place
I have boarded my dogs here for decades. My dogs love it. The staff is friendly and helpful and they treat my pets like family. In my family we cal it the Spa. When we drop the dogs off for boarding they are always excited. That wasn’t the situation with previous boarders.
Very clean and professional location. I love the staff there and they're the main reason I go. However the vets ran me around financially and emotionally when treating my dog for allergies. I tried to get my dog on cytopoint because my dog was receiving a steroid shot every 3 weeks or so for allergies that weren't resolving. My hometown vet told me it was a safer and more effective treatment for allergies. However the vets here didn't even know about the treatment and after reading on it told me that I still HAD to get him tested for allergies first AND go on a 2 month long food trial before they would treat him with cytopoint. I can't afford the special food and testing, or 2 months of watching him have painful reactions to allergies he had been in a cone and tank top for months to prevent itching, so I went to another vet that happily gave him cytopoint until I can afford the allergy testing and treatment in the fall. Just very disappointed with how the vets addressed the issue when I have been coming to this vet for months and I was ready to make this my regular vet location. Now that he has gotten cytopoint treatment his skin and ears have healed and there's no vomiting or diarrhea like there was with the repeat steroid treatment. This was just my own personal isolated problem with this location, otherwise everyone has been incredibly kind and professional. Edit: I would be under the last name Kilgore in your database, my google account is associated with my maiden name and I've not been able to change it. I visited many times in the spring
