Comet Tavern

Visited this place on a friday night with a large group of friends and it was fun. If you like a cozy, silent, romantic place then this isn't the place. This is for party animals. It was chockablock with people dancing. Not a kid friendly place. It took a good deal of time to order our drink because of waiting in the queue at the bar.

I miss the real dive vibe and the long community tables where you always ended up meeting new people but it's still a cool place and I'm glad it's survived.

Just one of the many bars in the central Capitol Hill area. Nothing really stands out about this place as unique but they do have Skee Ball, good music, and plenty of seating. The high ceilings makes it feel less crowded on weekends (and it gets CROWDED), and it's nearly impossible to walk - but whatever. The beer selection isn't too bad, usually 1-2 good craft beers on tap (Bodhizafa, Fremont, etc.). Good times

Honestly, better than I was expecting. Very divey establishment, but the crowd was great. Bouncer was rude and touch-happy. Closes at 1:30am, not 2am as listed. Make no attempt to come back in after this point, or the bouncer will shove you out of the building. Two stars reduced for this alone.
