Community Dental Care - St. Paul

I have been coming here for about a year for both routine care and a special procedure. I love this place! I grew up going to a small-town family-centered dentist and this place feels like "home" in that sense. It's pretty no-frills, but is clean and safe. It's open-concept (meaning there are multiple chairs/patients being treated in the same large room), so that's different than I'm used to. My kid's pediatric dentist works that way, too, and honestly I really like the method in both settings. I really appreciate the staff, hygienists, and dentists - everyone seems friendly, smile-y, and happy with being at work. They are efficient and all the work I have had done has been great. Notice that many of the bad reviews on here are people who needed urgent/emergency care and probably walked-in. This is not an emergency dental clinic or an oral surgeon. Understanding those nuances would have probably helped those folks.

I have been having a ton of problems trying to get my tooth pulled and getting an appointment. If you are like me, terrified of the dentist, this is an AMAZING place to go. I am from northern MN and couldn't find a dentist that took my insurance for emergency work, couldn't get an appointment for a few months. I went to their walk in emergency dental care and I was registered, seen, tooth extracted and ready to go home in about an hour and fifteen minutes. Not only is the staff extremely polite and helpful but it was almost completely pain free. Today was the first time I left a dentist office with out shedding a tear (no, I'm not joking). I feel so much better with that tooth out. Thank you so much Community Dental Care for your amazing work. Minimal pain, hardly bled and my tooth didn't break during the extraction! Absolutely five stars! This is my new dentist office!

I’ve been going here for almost a year now. I think everybody is very friendly, and I appreciate that everybody is welcome here. Only complaint I would have is that I still wait quite a while in the lobby when I have scheduled appointments. I’ve currently been waiting over a half hour for my appointment that I arrived 20 minutes early for (almost an hour total and still haven’t been seen). Wouldn’t recommend coming here over your lunch break.

I had a dental appointment for 10am and wasn't seen until after 12pm. There were people coming in the door after me, who appeared to be a walk-in or had a later appointment time and they were seen long before I was. The parking situation was a nightmare. The dentist was caring and skilled and did a great job though.

The Doctors & Assistance Where Helpful I didn't have no pain my extraction healed nicely as of matter of fact I'm on my there now!! Thanks Community Dental You Guys Rock🤗💋💅🏾
