My husband and I trained with Scott for six months and absolutely loved it. He took the time to find out what we wanted to accomplish and set up a training plan just for us. Always willing to work around any issues we may have had and quick to modify any exercise or stretch to meet our needs. I am currently in a group class led by Scott and having a great time. He pushes you just enough to make sure you are getting the most out of his class. I highly recommend Compass Fitness!!!

As I personal trainer myself I hold my colleagues in very high regard. That being said- Trainers need trainers! Scott and Bryan did not disappoint and gave me one heck of a super challenging workout and the hour flew by. The workout was intense and very thorough; and the instruction/motivation was rock solid. Compass Fitness is now apart of my workout regimen. Thanks guys! 💪🏼

I’ve been training with a Scott for about six months now, and I could not be happier with my decision to train with Compass Fitness. When I started I was brand new to the gym scene and more or less clueless as to how I was going to efficiently achieve my fitness goals. Scott developed a program of exercises catered specifically to me and my individual needs. He is always welcoming, and he achieves the perfect balance of motivation, critique, and praise. Even outside of our training sessions, he is always a great source of support and encouragement. I would certainly recommend these guys to anyone!

Initial post 6 months ago (see below for update 2/15/2018): Will and Scott have the tools and the passion to deliver state-of-the-art fitness to the Charleston area. Their personal training sessions, blogs, videos, and their group events are all informative and produce results, while having some fun along the way. I describe these guys as the "real deal" : committed, innovative, attentive, patient and genuinely sincere about you achieving a state of health. As a physician, I wish all of my patients could experience this. I'd write Rx's for it all day long! UPDATE: FEB 15, 2018 HERE WE ARE 6 MONTHS LATER SINCE MY LAST REVIEW/TOTAL OF 1 YEAR SINCE BEGINNING COMPASS FITNESS: STILL 5+ STARS Scott Woolard is a great trainer and Compass Fitness remains THE REAL DEAL! I've lost right at 50 pounds, have a core that was evidently hidden for years, and this feels like a permanent change. The workouts reduce stress, the stretches revitalize my body, and my state of health is far superior to 1 year ago. And I continue to have fun every session! I hope to pass this on to other Charleston residents via the Blue Zone Projects Charleston (google it; more to come). Compass Fitness will be there too, to share their proven, excellent approach to health/fitness.

I would highly recommend Compass Fitness to anyone that is looking to reach their goals. When I first started training, my goal was to jump start my fitness routine and eventually work out on my own. I have been so happy with Scott, my trainer, and the progress of my workouts, that I have no intention of giving this up. Not only am I seeing results, but I really enjoy the workouts and look forward to them. The 30 minute sessions go by so fast!
