This is a very scenic walk through the woods. It is a nature preserve that goes right through the swamp. The best time to walk the trails in this Preserve is the winter. In the summertime the mosquitoes and snakes and alligators are very predominant. There are no bicycles allowed on this Trail it is strictly a walking trail. If you go enjoy and take your time to see all the Wonders Nature has to offer.

If you live in Columbia, SC and you want to get away from the city for a short trip, this is the place to go. 10 min drive and you are walking on trails and encounters the wildlife. Make sure to bring food and water. And I recommend bug stray in the Summer.

Always peaceful and sparsely trekked; trails well-maintained; close in proximity to downtown Columbia.
