NEW MOVE IN!! Moved from out of state so I was unable to see the apartment beforehand. As far as the actual apartment goes… it was filthy & riddled with damage upon move in. Dirty carpets, walls, floors, etc. Grease on cabinets, dirty bathroom, dirt/dust painted over, some water damage in kitchen, broken and damaged areas everywhere. There are two pools, one of which seems to be permanently closed chain and lock on gate. The main pool was dirty upon arrival but they have since cleaned it!! The covered parking is a plus. Chloe has been our main contact at the office and has been very helpful. Submitted a maintenance request and they were quick to respond. Shout out to Shannon White in the maintenance department. He was personable, efficient and did great work. The review would be 5/5 if it was based on the people I have spoken with but the condition of the apartment was SAD to say the least.
I’ve lived here for a year and a half and it’s been wonderful. Peaceful and clean. It’s close to work and shopping. I have a car, but could walk anywhere I need to be. I walk to my barber. The washer/dryer included in my apt saves me time and money. I intend to stay here as long as they’ll have me.
Used to live in 207 Apartment from hell is an understatement. Unless you like living with Rats & Roaches and being overcharged. The office is a revolving door of new staff who dont know what they are doing or how to be professional. The maintenance men don't know what they are doing either. We went a month without AC in the middle of the summer at one point, had a leak that caused mold that was never fixed. They had to move everyone out of the entire building I was in because of how bad the rat/roach infestation was & they tried to move my kids & I to another building and unit that also had cockroaches! I was told that all the units had roaches, so they couldn't find another one, but at least Roaches are easier to deal with than Roaches and Rats. I got the city involved and broke my lease. Do not rent here it's disgusting & poorly managed. They also try to come after you when you move out for a bunch of bs charges. They tried to charge me for the other unit the one they tried to strong arm me into moving to having cabinet damage when I never even moved in there. Overall, it's just a terrible traumatic experience, I do not recommend. I have 100s of pics and proof of all of this, too. I had to tie my cabinets shut to keep Rats from busting through them, I have hours of footage of them scratching and hitting the doors of the cabinets to get out. Super freaky & scary.
Shannon was the repair tech assigned to my unit for a work order submitted the day prior. He called immediately to discuss the details and upon arrival was respectful, kind and knowledgeable. He explained each repair as he went through the process and made sure everything was in working order prior to leaving. He did an excellent job and has given me a sense of security here at Connect. Thank you Shannon!
Honestly? I've been here almost a year. I had my first maintenance service today had no problems until the AC started leaking last night I got ahold of them on the phone the same day after leaving a voicemail on the emergency maintenance line they called me back promptly even though it was after hours, and i reminded them in the morning when they said they'd come in and they sent someone immediately. I had barely just gotten the area cleaned up & ready to service : He explained what the problem was and addressed it in under 3 minutes. he was really polite and on point, no mess, no more leak, AC is working 10/10 as usual still with no end in hearing range/sight I know what an AC dying sounds/looks like cuz the last place I lived at was a nightmare. This place has surpassed my expectations time & time again, love my unit, probably going to renew if they still want me & got a fabulous move-in deal on top of a wonderful monthly price for my vaulted ceiling studio unit &spacey balcony + balcony storage closet. I love it! And I love the landscapers!! they have them come weekly & they do a great job. I love the bush they always trim into a heart shape: and regardless of the crime in glendale as a city, I feel safe here. Its quiet and lowkey atmosphere. Any residents that did seem to be causing issues before seem to not be here anymore. This place has been great to me, always fixing issues for me as soon as they come up. Be good to people and they'll be good to you: thank you connect on northern for helping me feel at home here<3 I've kept my unit spic n span so you won't be disappointed in me either!! Thank you for all your staff especially Marco the maintenance man, Susan who formerly worked here, Andrei, Rebekka, Kurt Curt? I'm not sure how to spell his name but he's also on the maintenance team and the guy who cleared my condensation lines this morning Levi from the maintenance team I also want to give a shout out to because that was the quickest maintenance experience I've EVER had. Yall deserve 5 stars & the recognition. Keep up the good work!!
The new management has their maintenance team who is above knowledgeable in everything they do. My husband put in an order on Saturday and they are closed Sunday but Monday morning they came knocking and took care of the problem. life savers they are kind and hard working thank u maintenance team
My AC wasn't working so I called the leasing office. I had to call again because of course they don't care even when there is children and the apartment was getting hot. Finally someone came Shannon White and he was a godsend very nice and professional. Went above and beyond to solve the problem and fix it. I give the review with 5 stars just for him and his service. Thank you Shannon!
This is a very safe place to live, and the amenities such as the in unit laundry and dishwasher are very useful. They also fix any issues in a timely manner.
Filed an emergency maintenance request since my AC did not work and Shannon called back almost immediately explaining the situation and how best to resolve it. He came out in the morning and both knowledgeably explained what happened and why it happened and fixed the issue. He was very nice the entire time and left the apartment in a better state than he found it. The management has always been very nice and I have never had issues with them. Concerning the apartments, you get what you pay for. These apartments are old, they have their issues. Yes the roaches are a problem, but after spraying every two weeks and putting down sticky traps in all the places that roaches can be, the issue isn’t an issue anymore. I haven’t seen a roach in a month when I used to see one or two a day.
Shannon white did a great job and made sure everything was handled and gave me good tips on typical required maintenance procedures in order to limit the amount of overall repair! Thanks!
