Called just yesterday and was treated very nicely by dispatch. Connecticut State Police are probably the nation's most professional and least corrupt State Police, in my estimation and based on data I've seen, as well as personal experience in dealing with them. Compared with say, PA State Troopers who maybe "just happened to be" condescending jerks when I had a flat tire at 3AM down in the Wilkes-Barre area. Never have gotten a bad attitude from CT State Police.
Troop A are part of the Western Division of the CT State Police. They serve Wolcott, Waterbury, Middlebury, Oxford, Southbury (Headquarters), Newtown, Roxbury, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Bethel, Redding, New Milford, Danbury, Ridgefield, New Fairfield and Sherman.

I Was pulled over the other day in Bridgeport. I kindly accepted the tickets as I knew I was in the wrong. The officer had an attitude before I even spoke a word. When I ask if the ticket held any points with it The officer clearly stated to me that the ticket would have no points if I just pay the fine. He was misinformed. For it did add points to my license. I found out today through the mail after already paying the fine. I would have rather went to court if I new. To see what they could do for me. I suggest they learn the point system before handing out the tickets. I read up on it and will never ask an officer about points again.
