I arrived at the store at 10:30am, but it was locked and dark despite the sign on the door saying open 9am-5pm. I called the main 800 number, and the person I spoke to said the employee that was meant to open the store forgot their keys and had to go home, but they were on their way back right then. Again, this was already 1.5 hours past when they were supposed to be open. He couldn't give me an exact time when they would be back, but I decided to wait...big mistake. I waited for over an hour and still nobody showed up. Several other customers came by, and one person told me they'd had similar experiences before. Overall, just a massive waste of time -- I live 25 minutes away, so there's no way I will drive back over there and risk not finding the store open. Sorry to say it, but I'm just going to order my stuff online -- it's cheaper anyway.
Stopped in this week and picked up a few glazes and tools. Its nice to look in a physical store vs online.
I feel customer service has dropped. Questions go unanswered. My items we not itemized nor was I given a student discount. I had submitted my tax exempt info but I was charged tax all because they didnt look up my info. Now I would normally be able to fix this, well I could if I had an itemized receipt or an order number. Very unprofessional Good news is some smaller places are opening up in the area and they are eagerly seeking new clients. My collage has actually changed their clay supplier due to the problems with Continental Clay. Better deals are out there. I can even get clay delivered to my door by another local company if I spend $200,,, what a deal. Continental dont give deals like this, or any other from what I can see. I started dealing with them 3 years ago.... now I am done. I found 2 other companies who will help me grow as they do. I am. Done supporting this OLD company, it is evident all they want to do is make money... no more of my money will go to them.
Great customer service. Did me a solid with a phone order. Nice selection of products you'd expect from a big company, but small business helpful vibe.
This place has everything you need for pottery. I got parts to repair an old kiln. Not a great place for walk in customers. Feels a bit like a warehouse, which it is, so no surprise. They do not sell any pottery out of the front. : But great service and quality selection of tools and glazes.
Very good service, helped me answer many questions and found every thing I needed for me.
Nice people, great clay bodies and good prices. They got my special order in early.
Wide range of products for many arts. Only visited once and was surprised how many items in store. Person who helped was friendly.
Awesome local ceramics shop and supplier, a knowledgeable staff and reasonnable turnaround for materials ordering.
They are friendly knowledgeable, helpful. Only problem is the distance for us, we live very south from them.
