Cookout is a wonderful place. It's not exactly here for quality food, but it is a great place for a quick bite, and the quality of food surpasses other nearby fast foods. Extremely reasonable prices and flexible hours makes it a great stop for high schoolers, though that being said prepare for a younger crowd outside.

We have always enjoyed Cookout. The BBQ platter is a favorite of ours. You can get a BBQ sandwich, 2 sides and a cheerwine float for $4.99. we like to add a dozen hush puppies for just 99cents. They used to have $1 milk shake of the month flavors, but I haven't seen that in awhile.

Slow as ever but the food is great and cheap. I don't mind waiting a little bit longer to eat good and save money. Props to them for always having my order correct even with that mile long menu they have.

Best double cheeseburgers in gastonia. Real hamburger no soy. And u get 2 sides and a drink for around $5.
