Loved the food! Cool ambiance. We sat on the covered patio and it was very pleasant and a nice vibe. The Cajun carrots were delicious, as were the salad with steak added and the shrimp risotto. The bananas foster rum cake was out of this world! Service was great too. The only things we’d skip next time were the roasted Brussels sprouts - just not much flavor. And the drink smoky Paloma was just so-so for the price. Get a reservation and don’t miss this one!
I am ruined for all other gumbos. Seriously, this is not the spot I expected to get the best gumbo I’ve ever had, but it was absolutely fantastic. It’s full of chicken and boudin GAME CHANGER! and no rice which was a nice change. The spice level is great and I almost came here for a second time on the same trip just to get it again. Don’t sleep on the gumbo here, it’s worth it! We also had a great rest of our brunch: the crab Benny was delicious and had a soft and yummy biscuit under it. The chicken and waffles was also great; it comes with a gravy of sorts but they also brought syrup for the traditionalists. We are inside and loved it, but they have a lovely courtyard as well which would be nice when it’s not so hot. Side note: love the bathrooms here, the hallway leads to an open area with a couple sinks and then each individual bathroom is it’s own private room. Such a nice touch. I saw this chef on Beat Bobby Flay and I’m so glad I tried her restaurant— it’ll be a permanent stop on any future New Orleans trips!
The place has such an inviting clean atmosphere. So much green everywhere. Love the pick two lunch special. Two items for 14 dollars. For apps, the bacon wrap dates are amazing. Date stuffed with cheese wrapped with bacon with a glaze. So yummy. They have coed bathrooms and the story supposedly goes that owner met his wife in a place with coed bathrooms in New York or something so he had to have it at his restaurant too.
It’s a beautiful wine inspired restaurant in the French Quarter. They offer a happy hour from Mon-Fri from 2pm - 6pm. They have wine flights for $8 and they have a variety of bites for good prices. The customer service is great and the food is delicious. The restaurant has a beautiful patio/terrace. This is great place for a work lunch, girls night, date night or pregame spot.
My favorite spot. The food is always great, the staff is always friendly, and the experience is always THE BEST! Though we had a reservation for later in the evening, Copper Vine went above and beyond to accommodate our high school graduation party and was even able to squeeze us in when our schedule shifted to an earlier meal time. Thanks for being part of our celebration!
Every time I come into Nola, Copper Vine is always on my restaurant list! The atmosphere is fun and inviting, and the food is fantastic - there is something for everyone on the menu. My personal favorites are the salads and pasta dishes. The salads are incredibly filling and the shrimp risotto was rich and tasty. The staff are always kind and attentive, so I will most definitely be back!
I loved all the greenery and artwork. It was a cool oasis on a hot day. I had my first Crawfish grilled cheese sandwich and it did not disappoint. Love the lunch option to pick 2 half orders. I will try the wines next visit, when I have more time to sip. Worth the trip for sure.
Amazing lunch spot with fantastic next-level food. The fried chicken sandwich was nearly perfect with a crispy exterior and deliciously tender interior, topped with a variety of freshly pickled vegetables. Even the salad here absolutely blew me away, the arugula was so fresh and flavorful it may as well have been picked from a garden that day which I can't say about 99% of salads you typically get eating out, even at nicer restaurants. And the lump crab devilled eggs were also a great snack, with a decent helping of crab meat you can actually see and taste, with an interesting mustard-forward egg mix that complemented it perfectly. The bartendress was also super friendly and helpful, I'd definitely come here again and again.
Very nice, upscale, and health food. This place is stunning. I walked past it and couldn’t help but notice how pretty it is with all the greenery. LOTs of GF & Vegan options as well. This place is beautiful inside the restaurant and even it’s outdoor patio as well. The bathrooms are nice as well. If you plan to come here for lunch on a Friday, maybe call in advance since it’s gets filled up quickly that day typically being close to the business district. We made sure to get a reservation.
As an avid food, wine and plant lover, this establishment caught my eye from the road. Lush green plants adorn the patio, many of which I privately own, so I immediately felt at home. The dining room had a classic, upscale ambiance with wines, and Signature cocktails to pair with your meal, complete with a complementary tune to accent the dimly lit room. I could not have been more pleased with wine selection, as well as my perfectly crisp and seasoned Brussels Sprouts be sure to try Happy Hour Specials. However, the real treat, prepared by chef Amy Mehrtens, was the pork chop, not over cooked, not dry, but perfectly tender, complete with the fluffiest grits you'll ever find, and served with a side of tasty greens. My kind, attentive Waiters, Kaitlyn and Dylan, attended to my every need, offered wine parings, recommendations - I never had to ask once for something. A completely enjoyable evening. I live in Austin or I would be sure to visit again! Go - you won’t be disappointed !!
