Reviews
So I went to copy cats yesterday knowing there were bad reviews but some good reviews which I'm almost doubting are real. Unless they're good at doing other things than making bad copies that dont look like the thing your copying. Well I went in their excited because I called a month or more ago to get prices and such. Well I finally made it their. Well I waited a few while they said the laminator warmed up which is fine. I know it has to for a few mins. Then I wanted a copy of my drawing which I usually go to portland mall area which is too far at office depot. They do amazing jobs at copying and laminating . I've done about 5 drawings their. They've all came out perfect. Well the fact that copy cats is made to specifically copy, laminate, and so on. I assumed yay it's local and will be a good place to go from now on. I was completely disappointed and wrong. First she came back and made a huge mistake which I totally understood. I asked for a 14in by 17inch. She said here u go. For some reason it came out huge poster size and I saw the drawing also looked highly pixelated or however u may say it looked and I told her her I did not say that big. I wanted the exact size I said of the paper I drew on. So she brought it back and asked the guy and other girls working for help (about 4 people working, 3 girls 1 guy) they made the copy of it again and finally got the size perfect but I noticed the picture still looked really funny and horrible. Nothing like my sketch at all. She did ask is that better and do u like it but because I was alone I was worried a fight or drama would happen. ( which I'm not saying it would've but I didn't wanna deal with that) so I'd said yes and they laminated it. So it cost 11.00dollars for a horrible quality copy but an amazing laminate job. Sucks cause this is a gift I drew a girl from church that's 5 years old that loves elsa and now I had to figure out what to do before sunday. ( I'm giving it to her sunday) so I just went to staples and found out they did copies my sketch books size and lamination the same size. He literally took every measure to make sure it looked perfect, contrast, brightness, colors, and so on. When I showed him the one from copy cats he literally said omg what were they thinking? That's a blue print copy and the contrast is horrible. So apparently who works there does not know how to adjust the colors and contrast and do settings right. Need to take a class or not be working their. I just wasted 11 dollars on something I can't gift and just keep. I'm going to post pictures of the copy cats copy, the staples one and my actual sketch. You tell me if I'm crazy. I never complain about stuff but this really upset me that i cant find local places to make my drawing look nice so ic can give my kids or friends kids drawings without going 30 miles out of my way. Luckily staples rocks.

We had a wonderful experience with Copy Cats! We had a project with a short turn-around, and they were able to pull it off. Customer service was excellent, and Sandy was particularly helpful. We could not be more pleased with our experience or the outcome of the project.

I LOVE copy cats! I use them on a monthly basis, and they are all amazing! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fast! My job would be a lot harder without them to help me!

The customer service is arrogant, technically incompetent and lacks any semblance communication skills. I will never bring my business back to Copy Cats again.

I am glad that there is a local place in Mac to get some basic printing needs done, but my wife and I have experienced numerous frustrations at this place. They are lazy when it comes to printing requests, they charge a ridiculous amount to cut prints, and they apparently don't even know how to measure to cut specific needs. My wife was in to get some 5x7 cards printed… printing the cards wasn't a problem. She needed 10-15 cards. The employee said it would be an additional $8 to cut the $3 of printed paper… my wife said fine because she was in a hurry. Then the person said that they couldn't cut the cards because there was no guidelines on the printed material. Do they not know how to measure??? Don't their paper cutters have pre-made ruler guides?
Then they agreed to cut all of the sheets down the middle for us. After which we noticed half of them were cut crooked.
If you need something custom printed, you will not get quality work done here. I can't believe I am actually wishing a Kinkos was in this town now.
