The food was decent. I wouldn't recommend the shrimp Po boy. The shrimp was somehow gritty. The dessert fries were awesome. The wait was only about 15 minutes for 3 of us. It's a decent less crowded restaurant to duck into when the rain hits.
Looking for a good/quick lunch and were very happy here... they grilled my turkey before assembling my club sandwich. It's the little things that I appreciate. The French fries were perfect and great service. We got the club a burger, and a Southern Belle.
This was a great find on Google Maps. It was really close to the French Market and other attractions in the French Quarter. The place was clean and staff very friendly. Great place to have lunch and cool off before further exploring of the area. The food and drinks were great and reasonably priced.
To my friends, family and google family. I found a diamond in the rough. My wife and I were going to go into another oyster house, but decided to stop in at the corner oyster house; man were we impressed. The homemade cheese sticks were the best we ever had; thick, fried but not to fried, and breaded to perfection . The grilled gator was flavor packed and the raw oyster/charbroiled oyster were so fresh, how fresh were they mustache man? I think I saw them getting out of the river. Now that I have your attention. The main entree were red beans and rice with spicy sausage, the chicken pasta and the shrimp po-boy. If you have not had, the French bread in the French quarter, then you have not had French bread, IMO. Now, let’s talk about the desert; we had the beignet fries and beignet bananas fostersj beignet fries. What a treat! The bananas provide thaw perfect backdrop for the beignet fries. The syrup is almost the consistency of banana pudding., makes it perfect for dipping the beignet fries. Small, skinny, fried made from beignet mix. I think it’s the best, most original desert I have had. 5 mustaches from the mustache man. I say bravo. If you are close to New Orleans get to the corner oyster bar ASAP. Ask for our awesome waitress Tina, and tell her yourmustachman man sent you.
We liked this place so much we came back twice during our 4 days here. It was hard to choose what to get since everything looks so good. One of the nice things about this place is that it's on the parade routes so if you are sitting and eating before hand you can get cans of beer so go.Dine in: Yes
Great food, wonderful service. Some of the best oysters I’ve had in New Orleans. The fried oysters on the oyster poboys were so good we had to order a oyster platter to share. Fried oysters are amazing. A+
Food was good, very energetic atmosphere, was super busy when we got there, we sat by the window so we had an eyeful with people passing by and on the street...overall had a great time! ~never a dull moment in the quarters
We decided to go to the Corner Oyster House in search of grilled and fried oysters while near Jackson Square in New Orleans. The oysters were delicious and the entire meal was the best that we had while in NOLA. I also had the Gumbalaya which was a nice accompaniment to the oysters. The drink selection was limited and overpriced, but the quality of the food made up for it.
Sports bar with cajun flare on the main drag. I had the sausage poboy which was delectable. A category 4 margarita had me feeling spicy in NOLA. Fried gator for the appetizer was flavorsome. A worthy place that I would return to for getting day drikning started. 9.6/10
Stopped in for dinner before ghost tour drinks were very good the seafood Gumbo was excellent the platter was too big to finish and wonderful. Will be back next time in NOLA
