Delicious food! Had the Crab Cake Benedict & the Fried Green Tomatoes. The food was flavorful & perfectly cooked! My server, Tammy, was the sweetest! The music that they play is pretty good too : I’ll definitely be back next time I visit NOLA
Everything was good. Id say its a safe meal in a clean and sanitaty area. Served hot with big serving sizes, we enjoyed our meal and all the stars is for the chicken and sausage gumbo i tasted from the trio plate because that had soooo much unique flavor and was very delicious and made the visit here.Food: 4/5
Monty’s was wonderful. The manager Brittany was so kind and sweet. She came over and talked with us for a few minutes which was great! Our waitress Tammy was also great! The food came out fast and taste really good! Definitely a good place to dine in New Orleans
What a great spot to grab a drink and relax. Lots of traffic so sit at the bar for a 360 view of all the action on Decatur St. This mom & pop spot is authentic. Food was delicious fried green tomatoes seasoned perfectly. We only stopped in for drinks, but grabbed a few appetizers. The prices were not bad for being in the heart of Jackson Square!! And let me tell you about our bartender Danielle!! She was the best!! A nNew Orleans native and one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met… Bloody Mary’s were great very flavorful. Wife had a Louisiana Lemonade and my sister had a ‘Make it Rain’ like a mojito. They both loved them. Splurge a little, watch the people, and don’t forget to tip your bartender!!
It’s easy to see why this is one of the highest rated restaurants in the French Quarter. We came for brunch and the food is the best we had in New Orleans, full of flavor and very creative and different options. Not only that, this place exudes the very definition of true southern hospitality. These were some of the friendliest people we met, we even got to talk to the chef a bit. We loved our experience at Monty’s and if we weren’t leaving today would probably return again.
Dustin was awesome! I try biscuits and gravy in every new town I visit and these are amazing, also the bacon was cooked to perfection!!! He had the Cajun Trio and loved it. Drinks? Bloody Mary and Louisiana Lemonade. Yummy!!!
We ordered Jambalaya Omelette, seafood gumbo & seafood p’boy. We would love to give 4.8/5 for jambalaya & gumbo and 4.5 for seafood p’boy. Other than food, stuff & the environment were nice & friendly. Compare to price, food seems fine to me. I would love to recommend this place for brunch.
Went in with a lot of expectations after reading all the good reviews but was disappointed with the food. We had the jambalaya omelette and Cajun eggs Benedict and it was just mediocre. Nothing to crave about. Maybe it was just those dishes or maybe it was just the day we went but it could've been much better for the price $17 each Ambience was good and the servers were very kind and attentive
Food is amazing here and well worth the price. My waitress Brittany was amazing we were the only table in the back and she stayed on top of us making sure everything was perfect. Food cooked to perfect I mean fried green tomatoes and the inside was not mushy and over easy egg inside runny outside completely cooked drinks were a perfect combination. Price is amazing for everything u get Vegetarian options: Fried green tomatoes and a few others Kid-friendliness: Food is amazing for adult and kids Parking: Parking is right next door
Delicious brunch in the French quarter! We had the fried green tomatoes, breakfast poboy, cajun chicken and pancakes, crab cakes benedict and crab cakes and gravy along with a pitcher of mimosa. All were delicious! Great service too!
