This was our second time here. The atmosphere, the band, and the service are EXCEPTIONAL! my wife LOVES the muffuletta. The half sandwich is plenty big enough - so I'd only recommend the full size if you want to share or take some home! The shrimp poboy was not the best. The shrimp is flavored well, but over all it is a very dry and bland sandwich. The ice cream daiquiris earned their world famous status!
LOVED having lunch here during my last trip to New Orleans! It was HOT but sitting here was actually enjoyable because there was a breeze. Also meant that the ice cream daiquiris were a must. I ordered the peach one and it was delicious! The staff will attend your table if you just sit down or you can go up to the window and ask for a menu! The only bathrooms are the scary public ones in the French Market so come prepared
Fantastic jazz band at lunch on a Tuesday. Best part of my visit. Good daiquiris and mixed drinks. Did not try food but menu was nice.
Open air seating, live music, and friendly staff. I had my first muffuletta here and oh boy was I happy. If it weren't for my husband's and my vaca deal of not eating in the same place twice I would've gone back to try more of the menu. Which means I will be back the next time I'm in NOLA.
Gazebo Cafe was so good we ate there twice!! Our waitress both times was Kristy J and she was awesome!!! Their muffalettas, french fries and Bloody Mary's are delicious!!. We had never been to New Orleans and we had the best time!! We will definitely go back!!
Good drinks, a superb experience. Frankly, this was one of the best restaurant experiences in the area. I cannot understate how great the live jazz sounded, and the atmosphere was full of really good vibes. One of my new favorites, I guarantee you that I'll be visiting here again in the future.Food: 4/5
A nice stop near the French Market. Gazebo Café provides good service, and live music in an outdoor setting. The Gator bites I tried were very tasty, The Muffuletta was good, and the Shrimp Po'boy average. 4.0 5.0
first meal, lunch, we had in New Orleans. Alligator po boy, and the sampler gumbo, jambalaya and rice, both were excellent. live music a plus. would have gave 5 but the table and chairs were not so comfortable.
Nice live music quartet and a good drink. Lots of seating available. 10$ ice cream daiquiri and service was fast. Would for sure go again!
Honest food. Everything we ordered was good. The waitress was very nice!Recommended dishesMuffaletta
