Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital

At first I thought this was the vet for me and my dogs. They were affordable and seemed caring, but unfortunately I will not be returning after my latest visit. First I was waiting over an hour after my appointment time just to see the vet. I told Dr. Einchorn l would like to go back with my dog for the procedure, as he would feel much more comfortable if I was there. They made excuses and basically told me no, and took him in the back. Two minutes later they came back to tell me my dog wasn’t cooperating and they wouldn’t be able to do the procedure. I stated Again that if I was with him, he would be more comfortable. They said I could do it myself. Actually her words were, “have at it!” but then she refused to provide me with the supplies to do so myself, saying it was against policy. nothing I was asking for were prescription medical supplies, but things anyone could buy online. They still tried to charge me for my visit after doing literally nothing for me, but wasting my time. So I left. And I will not be going back.

They put an IV in my cat and put the tape on too tight. Left him that way overnight and didn't check on him. His paw turned black and all of the skin died. All the vet would say was "yes we did have it on too tight." Like oh well. Now I have to watch him die slowly from infection. They also made me pay for some ointment to put on his paw. These people just looked at my cat like a throw away animal. Good luck to you if you use them. I need to add that we had to pay over 1000.00$ for the experience. I added a picture of Ralph's injury. I hope no one else has an experience like this.

With each vet apt. this amazing staff and doctors served our pet needs with grace, patience and such care. Our dog could get pretty anxious and fearful, and they approached him and our apt. so well each time. When it was time to have to put our big guy down, Dr. Andrew's compassion, care and time with us was so gentle and grace-filled. We are so thankful for this team, and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Do not come here if you have a chicken sick with something else besides worms. No point. You’re just throwing away hundreds of dollars for an “I don’t know, have some antibiotics.” First chicken ($60): $45 just for coming in and $15 for a fecal float test. “I don’t know, just give him some antibiotics”. Second chicken ($75): they decided to increase their prices, don’t know why. I was also given an “I don’t know” and she died a month later. Third chicken ($100): finally decided to give me antibiotics only because they thought they would lose my business, which of course they officially did. A week of antibiotics, no improvement, i call and he says, “well just send her to A&M for a necropsy”. A necropsy is about $150. What was the point in paying you all that money for an “IDK she’s going to die anyway”. Not only has this place lost my business, it has lost my respect. I would NEVER recommend anyone here, and would in fact deter them away from this place.

I had to take my little rattie here to be looked at. She was old and was expireiecing health problems, so she did have to be put down. Everyone was very compentent and attentive. The whole staff was understanding and caring through the whole process. Even the reception said that she was sorry for our loss. The vet referred to my pet as her name and was very warm and kind. At no point did I feel rushed or judged. A great small town clinic! My family plans on going here from now on. Update: it has been about a month since my little friend was put down and I just received a card in the mail from the clinic. 10 people signed it, apologizing for my loss and even using my pets name! It’s very comforting and kind. Thank you guys!
