Country Bookshelf

Great selection of reading material. They have author events every so often and I always find these interesting and fun. Friendly staff who like to read and will make suggestions if you ask. My favorite bookstore.

This is one of my favorite spots in Bozeman! Its got a great atmosphere both for buying books and for just spending some time wandering. The employees are always super helpful too.

I'm surprised it's taken me so long to review the Country Bookshelf. It seems like I'm visiting this store at least once a month. I rely heavily on the employee recommendations for my next reading adventure, and it's rare that one of those recommendations leaves me disappointed. Reading is a personal experience. The Country Bookshelf does an extraordinary job in recognizing that and catering to their customers. This locally owned shop will outlast all the big box stores.

Love the hand-written staff recommendations, and that you can browse for hours without getting any sideways looks! Great selection and knowledgable staff.
