A must see if you are interested in the US westward expansion of the mid to late 1800's. What's here are just the rocks...it looked like people had forged trails up / around it. Nothing official that I could see. You can drive right up to it...on a dirt road. Google will get you there.

Amazing up close experience. You're able to go right up to them and the view of the valley floor from there is breathtaking. Worth the few minutes it took to get here.

Great place to stop to stretch your legs after driving across the state on your way to other historical sites in western Nebraska and South Dakota, even Wyoming for that matter since it is pretty close as well.
