Cowboy Chicken

Was great when I was there a few months ago but a real disappointment this time. I t tooka long time to get my food, and then the BBQ chicken sandwich was barely warm and the cheese was cold---not even close to being melted. The one bright spot was the fried okra that was hot and cooked perfectly. There were at least two tables with multiple guests who's food didn't come out at the same time.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I went in, but everything on the menu looked delicious. I had a salad and tried some of the fried okra, both were good, the chicken in the salad was seasoned and flavorful. The people working at the counter were nice and the environment was pleasant. I will be returning.

First time ordering ever and paid for delivery and tipped! Was very excited after seeing everything on the pictures online.... Well, the rolls were burned they were black, I had paid extra for them. I ordered chicken fingers and 2 sides. One of the chicken fingers was around an inch long the other ones were so hard they weren't edible but they were also covered everything was with macaroni and cheese in the whole box. They threw everything on top of each other, so my corn nuggets, burned rolls, and chicken fingers were covered in Mac and cheese I'm assuming to hide the burned appearance and lack of chicken fingers. Not only that, but my enchiladas were just a box of sauce overflowing. I thought it was my Mac and cheese at first since there was no tortilla, just an overflowing chunky sauce in a box, until I saw the other Mac and cheese box mess. I called and spoke to a manager who said he was refunding me, resending my order, and giving me a gift card to come back and try again. So this is what I was expecting. I thought my food was back on its way, until I got a call from the "general manager". He told me he refunded me but wondered if I wanted it remade. I told him what the other manager said he was doing, and he said, "oh he was just trying to make it right. I can send a new order (but now no gift card after being told and thinking my order was already on its way). I told him no forget it, I just want my money back. He wanted to do less than I was already told was happening and my food should have already been made and being sent out like the guy already told me. I just said forget it. At least I got my money back... He told me the enchiladas don't look like traditional enchiladas and that the website picture of enchiladas "doesn't help" and that they "don't travel well" and that he gets this call a lot.... A box of overflowing sauce all over the bag with chunks of chicken is not enchiladas I'm sorry, especially when your own website shows pictures of what your food is when you order. I was promised a makeup meal with gift card, then later called questioning if I want only part of that promise or not, with lame reasons why everything was wrong. General manager said he even delivered my food but "didn't check it this time" and apparently didn't care what my impression was of this restaurant, so here's my opinion. I won't order again or go back. With food and customer service like that, I was lucky to even get my money back. Whatever. One star. I see you responded to other people on here, but you already talked to me and offered less than I was told and seemed like your mistake was my problem for not overlooking it. I was also missing my sauce for my chicken. The salad was the only thing not messed up. It was good, but not good enough to ever go back after being treated like that.

Great place to grab a quick but nice meal. The chicken fried salad is my favorite and they have $2.99 kids meals. The staff was great with my little girls.

Best chicken in town. Enough said. Warm & inviting environment with down home style cooking, smells, and good quality food. Never disappointed by this place!
