Cozumel Mexican Restaurant

My husband and I got the fajitas. He got chicken and I got steak. It was HORRIBLE!!! The meat tasted like the boiled it then threw it in the skillet for a minute. The bell pepper and onions were barely cooked and pretty raw. Tortillas were hard and cold! Do Not eat here. We went because the reviews were high but boy did we make a mistake. We returned our food to the kitchen, paid for our drinks and left!!!

A family favorite. Cozy atmosphere. Great selection of food and the service is unbelievably fast. Outside seating available in warm weather. A really nice, relaxed spot to grab some tasty Mexican food.

I've always enjoyed this restaurant. The food for me on this trip was wonderful, but the portions were skimpy compared to other Mexican restaurants. I ordered Chili Colorado. The portion is meat was just slightly less than what it should have been, but the beans and rice were super skimpy. The plate was covered, but with the thinnest layer of both. I would estimate it was a quarter to third cup of each instead of the 3/4 cup or more I've been served in other Mexican restaurants. I heard they are under new management, so the smaller portions might be due to this.

My steak was raw. Medium doesn't even come close. Mother's Day has a whole new level of "we care about Mom" at Cozumel. Thanks for the side of beef straight outta the freezer amigo....$45 bucks later
