Las Trancas Mexican Restaurant

Dinner on a Sunday, place wasn't busy at all. Still got soggy, cold food that took forever to come to the table. Don't know if it sat around or what. Cheese dip was congealed, fajitas barely above room temperature, tamal that was actually chilled in the center. Kids taco dinner was so soggy she couldn't pick it up, it fell apart like wet paper. Complained to the waitress and she took the drinks off the bill, never mind the 3 cold meals. Used to be a favorite place, guess that's why it was dead on a weekend.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant and so far there were some hits and some misses. My fiance order some beef nachos with cheese as an appetizer; when it finally came out of the kitchen, the nachos were all watery from the ground beef on them not being drained and there was not very much cheese to them as well. But portion size was great. We did have problems with ants though the entire while we where at the table. Even my fiance had one crawling up his arm while his eating his main course, which made him lose his appetite for his taco salad. Our main courses were great but the guacamole I order had waaayyyy to much onion in it. The service was on point though and very friendly and our waiter was a little nervous but did so well, even when I mentioned the issue with the guacamole. All around it is definitely woth trying if your in the mood some Mexican food.

I had trouble finding a menu on internet so I have taken pictures for everyone else having the same trouble. My visit was a early lunch dinner. The waiter had a little trouble understanding what I was asking . Which not a big deal at all. Pretty empty I must have hit a sweet spot because every other time I have had to wait forever even if it was lunch time. Great service . Friendly staff . Cold drinks. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for good Mexican food.
