Everything I've needed and more. Can schedule to see my PCP family Dr r./internist same week and others quickly as well. Excellent super-hero nurse practitioners and my case manager is phenomenal. When scheduled, I am never in the waiting room for longer than 10-15 mins.
I had the same experience with Dr. Montegudo as another poster stated. I was seeing her for my ADHD and instead, ended up having to stop my meds after 5 years, cold turkey, because of the way she humiliated and gaslighted me. She was persistent on forcing antidepressants on me instead of treating me for my actual issue. She acted like she knew more than all of my previous doctors then started taking guesses on diagnosis for my problems to be anything but ADHD. When I even agreed to take antidepressants to show her how they caused me to have skin rashes, and how they cleared up once I stopped taking them, she was dismissive of these side effects, brushing it off as coincidence. When asking her to explain herself all I got was "I don't know." She also said that it was "impossible for antidepressants to cause breakouts," yet in the patient's guide for the medication it said to "notify your doctor if skin breaks out in rash." When I confronted her about it she gaslighted me saying she said "it's rare." Yet, still dismissed my side effects by saying, "I'm the one that went to school for medicine." Narcissist, much? This woman doesn't have a clue about ADHD and should not be taking on patients who need medication for it as she is more harmful than helpful. I can't forget to add how much she would roll her eyes while I was trying to speak to her. When I openly disagreed or questioned her false statements she would raise her voice, speak over me, and become argumentative. I'm so glad I have moved on from this place and now have an understanding doctor that doesn't treat me like I am less than. Unfortunately, the keloid scars left on my body from the antidepressants are forever.
This place is amazing. Dr. Jake went above and beyond to make sure his services were available to me and I was aware of any services I could/should utilize. Then sent my prescriptions tob the pharmacy on the 2nd floor where they were ready in under 1 hour. Before going down to the pharmacy I took advantage of the offer to check my labsStd check, harmone levels, liver levels ect,. The phlebotomist was so skilled and sweet. She found a vain and drew blood with 1 poke, and I don't the easiest veins to hit in the world due to my past. She told me I was hit and asked if I'd been walking in the heat. I confirmed. I then told her I was getting light headed as my blood filled the tubes and she immediately called for another lady and the two of them treated me with such love care and concern. Putting an ice pack on my neck, giving me water, telling me to cross my legs and squeeze the muscles to raise my blood pressure back up. I kept saying that they didn't have to do all that but they assured me they didn't mind, it's clear that every staff member I came into contact with worked there because they want to help people and they like and are good at there jobs. A++ Crescent care. Thank you! Shout out to Dr Jake and Mrs Roseland for taking such pride in their work!!!
Called to inquire about getting the bacterial meningitis vaccine. The receptionist was VERY RUDE right out of the gate making me think I was crazy for calling them if I’m not already an existing patient. When I asked how I go about becoming a patient, they responded “that’s not how it works” and I had to press further to be begrudgingly told that I could make an intake appointment but would have to wait 8 weeks. I hear that CC provides crucial community services and get that y’all are probably inundated with folks trying to get the mpox vax, I was very lucky to already get it, but having volunteered at community clinics that offer a wide range of health services to high risk populations, it was really disappointing to experience such a snarky and dismissive response from the general receptionist before I even finished my first question. Do better…
Jake is a great physician. The quality of care and interconnection of medical and social services are great.
First of all I can't count how many times my appointment has been cancelled then pushed back for months while my partner on the other hand has managed to recieve TWO appointments in the same month . The last appointment was scheduled for 10 left him waiting for an hr. as he was the only person waiting to be seen seated in their waiting area this has made me become irritated and frustrated more and more with the DENTAL part of this facility. The rest of the facility I always have a positive experience as a matter of fact everyone else I rate 5 stars
After having to wait for 20 or so minutes, Dr. Montegudo flew through my intake questionnaire, didn't have my correct psychiatric records, and decided she knew better than the psychiatrist who made my initial diagnosis based on a hurried and cold questionnaire process that didn't even address most of the symptoms that indicate my disorder. She dangerously tried to up the dosage of one of my meds while refusing to fill the other, based on talking for an hour. I now have to stop taking my adhd meds that I've taken for over 5 years cold-turkey. The whole time, she kept trying to speed me up and interjected several times with unfounded statements that my well-known symptoms weren't indicative of my diagnosed disorder. It took me over seven months to even be seen here. I will not be returning, and do not recommend individuals with ADHD go through the horrifically gaslighting and humiliating process of interacting with any of the staff here at all. The other psych intake person did the same exact thing. It felt as though everyone there was seeking to poke holes in my diagnosis and put me on a massive dose of anti-depressants rather than provide me actual care.
Respectfully.... REPUGNANT. Is it just me, or is every single person that answers the phone INCREDIBLY RUDE. Call for an appt? rude. Call for labs info? rude. Ask any question that matters about medical care? rude.
Everyone is always so nice and helpful! I've been going to Crescent Care for 5 years and have never had an issue with scheduling, or wait times. My doctor visits never feel rushed, and the pharmacy located inside the building is very convenient and fairly priced.
I saw Dr. Odoms today. She's the best. Clearly a very bright and inquisitive person. Seems to genuinely care about people. Great bedside manner. Definitely love how Crescent Care creates a welcoming environment for queer patients and staff.
