I’m not sure about these negative comments.... I have had nothing but stellar treatment for my dogs and cats. I have used a lot of kennels in my time and rate Crosby Kennel among the best. Cindy, the owner, has trained disobedience in dogs on her own, without charge, then trained the dog owner how to use her technique to continue training at home. Her grooming is superb as is her compassion and tenderness with my dogs. They actually seem to enjoying going to be with Cindy as if it were a vacation. Two of my dogs are tripods and she handles them with the utmost care. Another of my dogs we rescued from being thrown away in a dumpster. She can unexpectedly go from calm and happy to reacting in an aggressive manner. Cindy takes it in stride, calmly and sweetly, and the little girl puppy immediately calms and returns to her happy self. Cindy is the best! I recommend her to anyone who wants to have their best friend receive love and care and professional care.

Awful place. Don't board your animals. They mistreat and don't pay attention to them. Allow them to sit in their own urine and feces.

Do not take your dogs here. They mistreat and abuse your animals. They leave them unattended for extensive periods of time. They hardly feed and water them and they do not bathe them. Your animals will literally sit in their own feces until you come to pick them up and You cant even pick them up until 6pm to 8pm.

This happened to a friend of mine. This what she said happened. I have never boarded my dog (my service dog). I have never left her with anyone other than my sister-in-law. We got a recommendation for a kennel in Searcy, Ar named Crosby kennel and cattery. Although it was 2 hours out of the way we decided that we would give it a try while we went to Branson for a weekend, to take my nephew to see a play. Friday morning I left my sweet, loving, CLEAN baby with a lady who was supposed to care for her, named Cindy Person. Today me, my husband and my 6 year old nephew made the 3 hour drive from Branson to pick her up. We arrived at the kennel at 2:30 pm to a building with nothing but unattended dogs. We called and got a voicemail that said pick up time was 6 to 8 in the evening. I walked around the building to see not only my dog but about a dozen other dogs standing in the outdoor part of the kennel covered in their own feces. The owner arrived at the kennel at 3pm. As we got out of the car she crossed her arms and shouted "You can't get your dog till 6pm". My husband asked "We thought it was 6am till 8pm? Can we get our dog and we will be on our way?" She said "NO" and she ran in the building and locked the door. I called my mom asking what I should do as we were not close to home. She called and left a voicemail. She said "My daughter is in your parking lot trying to get her dog. Please have it in your heart to give them their dog so they can be on their way home. They have my grandson in the car and a long drive home or we will be forced to call the police department." Moments later she runs out side screaming "YOU CALLED THE COPS ON ME! That was an ugly thing to do! I'm going to have your mom arrested for terroristic threatening!? I've been at the hospital and haven't been here all day!" ( They closed at 10 am on saturday so the dogs were left alone for 29 hours?) My husband responded "I haven't called the cops but I will." Her response was "Do it! There is nothing the cops can do!" We called and talked to a deputy and the only response was "take it to small claims court." My SERVICE dog is a small claim? We called the ASPCA of arkansas asking what we should do about the scenario and the conditions of all the animals. Come to find out in the state of arkansas there is no regulating of kennels. So there was nothing we could do. The lady at ASPCA took her number and called her asking her to give us our dog. Her response was "I was going to give them their dog till her mom threatened me! Now I'm not." We sat in the car and waited for her to release my dog for 3 and 1/2 hours, in the heat, with a 6 year old child. At 6:05 we went in, paid, got my dog and left. My poor puppy was soaking wet with pee and covered in her own poop. Even her backpack with her toys and belongs had feces on it. Her backpack strap was also broken. Moral of story, Never leave your dog with anybody, legally they can mistreat and abuse your dog and there is nothing you can do about it. If you are in Arkansas tell everyone you know DO NOT leave your dog with Cindy Person ,the owner of Crosby kennel in Searcy, AR. Attached is a picture of her sleeping on the couch the day before we took her. She is super clean. There is also a picture of her when we picked her up. (If only you could smell a picture) Feel free to share. Tina Tilur.

Mistreatment of animals, do not give these people your money, they will leave your best friend outside in a poop pen.
