I worked with Nola for 5 years! We took down a huge Pharmaceutical company. Nola was a pleasure to work with and always had my best interests at hand. She always answered my questions promptly. Her firm was very professional and whenever I needed something they were there for me. Even when Nola traveled to Iran she was able to help me with my brief troubles with my Taxes!?!? She is not an accountant by any means but went above and beyond to make sure everything was OK for me, even after my settlement was delivered. She still had my best interests even though I wasn’t paying her anymore. I don’t many Lawyers that do anything for free.

I have nothing but great things to say about Nola and her firm. I am a former employee of a Milwaukee area college, who was unfairly treated by human resources (HR) and threatened with termination after I blew the whistle on their noncompliance with federal policies. In my case, HR's treatment of me was glaringly wrong to college leaders and staff; however, no one had the guts to stand up for me, as previous employees who had done so simply went "poof" and disappeared. I knew the writing was on the wall for me, and consulted with Nola. I'll never forget how assured I felt after that initial consultation. She immediately took charge of the situation; her reputation preceeded her and she quickly turned the tables in my favor. It was only because of Nola that I was able to keep my former job long enough to safely land at another college and continue my career (which I'm happy to say is also bigger and pays better than my former employer). Since leaving, my former employer has been in the news for alleged mistreatment of other employees. I'm glad my career is intact to see another day. Nola will fight for you; however, know in advance that she will be completely honest with you, and will not sugar coat the truth. This can be difficult to swallow, but is absolutely essential. I never felt her invoices were unreasonable, and they never contained unnecessary charges. Her staff was also excellent and quickly responded to my phone calls and emails. I plan to continue to stay in touch with Nola, and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Hard working and very capable group of attorneys. True advocates for their clients and leave no rock unturned in fully investigating a matter/case with the end goal of achieving a desired outcome while adhering to principles of integrity, professionalism and respect. Nola (et al) is a highly respected and esteemed member of a very elite group of attorneys/investigators across the nation who bring forth trailblazing, novel and complex cases on behalf of the public and the government. Grateful to have secured CLF's representation. Would do it all over again.

I could not be happier with the services I received from Cross Law Firm (Paul Schinner). He is extremely efficient and professional. Paul was responsive to my phone calls and emails and always available to answer questions. My case was closed to my advantage.

My lawyer, William Wetzel, at Cross Law Firm handled my unfairly assessed "liquidated damages" problem with Milwaukee Public Schools. William Wetzel performed magnificent research to craft an eloquently worded letter that invoked an immediate response from MPS, dropping all assessed liquidated damages. I am very happy with the work he put in and am satisfied with the charges for his time and effort. I highly recommend him for any and all employment resolutions. He really is an expert in his craft!
