I come here for their fish platters & chicken finger platters! Very good service at this venue! Very reasonable prices! Shalom
Let's be honest here, if you're going to a greasy fast food location at 1 or 2 in the morning and expecting anything more than that, then clearly the problem isn't with the restaurant. That aside, this Crown Chicken is great, the food is fast and delicious, the staff are generally very friendly, and, for me, they're in an ideal location, because after 28+ hours on a sleazy journey via Greyhound, nothing is more welcoming than a local fast food location that had a hundred different menu options all the way up to 3 in the morning. If you ever happen to be in the area, skip that Greyhound restaurant and just come straight here. This needs to be your go to location from Greyhound.
8/30/21, When in Philly shopping at the Reading Terminal Market, provides me the opportunity to check out Crown chicken. In New York we have Kennedy fried chicken, so I enjoy partaking in regional flavors. Crown chicken is pretty good and always crispy, 5 dark pieces for $9.
The chicken nuggets were great. Great place for halal food!
We ordered and ate a variety of foods in the branch at the convention center next to entrance to the Hilton Garden Inn. The chicken and rice was great, beef patties empanadas were very good, although slightly undercooked and the chicken strips which resemble chicken fries we're also quite good. The cheesesteak had very little cheese, which might not be to the taste of some people. French fries were shoestring style, crispy on the outside, soft within and fresh. We had no Ill effects afterwards, so overall very good - and the low price is a nice bonus!
Chicken is good, very crispy, isn’t too much favored on the chicken. price is good, the fries is okay, has a lot of selection and place cleanliness is okay.
Terrible terrible service i will call 3 times and no answer and then i will call again while walking over there and come in to a store with no customers and the cashier sitting down and on his phone while ignoring the phone call and then when i ask him why couldnt u answer the phone he said he was busy
Ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich and some fries. When I asked the guy if he had any sauce for the fries, he looked at me like what I was asking was absurd. He then said he had honey mustard and ketchup. I said “alright I’ll take some honey mustard”. When I got back to my hotel he gave me like 5 ketchup packets. Also, the food in general was trash and I’ve had diarrhea all day.
6.99 for the worst frozen patty hockey puck chicken sandwich ever.
I ordered the 9pc hot wings and the Philly cheesesteak and after waiting for about 20 minutes with no other orders being prepared, the cashier finally told me that they couldn’t make the cheesesteak. He then told me that I could substitute something else on the menu for it. I asked if I could have a cheeseburger since it was the same price, but he informed me that they only had wings. So I asked if I could have a refund for the cheesesteak and he said no, so I asked for the 4 pc mixed chicken by itself, which is about the same price as the cheesesteak, maybe 50 cents more. He then threw in a free Mac and cheese and then asked me to pay another dollar. I told him I wasn’t going to pay another dollar for 50 cents value, and he told me that he was trying to help me out by only charging a dollar for a 3 dollar difference. I argued with him for a bit, and then he reluctantly gave me my refund. Then, I asked for blue cheese sauce with my wings, which I saw him give to the customers before me for free, and he charged me 50 cents for this sauce. Do not go to this place. Horrible service and the wings were too salty. 0/10 would not recommend.
