I’ve honestly hit my breaking point with this place. I’ve been trying to give it the benefit of the doubt but I just can’t anymore. All the negative reviews of this place are true!!! There are like multiple staff members just talking around and not caring when there is a long line. Like I always see around 8-10 staff but only 2-3 ACTUALLY working and sometimes not even that. Like I get that they must be pretty tired from being on their feet all day but I went in this morning to donate plasma at 6:30AM!!!!!!! And I swear it was more slower than ever. Like what??? I waited like an hour to see the “nurse” and I finally just left. If you are looking to donate plasma to a place that actually cares don’t donate here!!! I’ve heard of great things about bio life!
Place is super slow. No help. I see 10 people back there and only 3 be working. Plan on being in line for the 2 hrs or more every day expect a slow stick and a slow release. Place needs to figure out how to become more efficient.... rather go to octa pharmacy they are way quicker... pays more too...
I was here for 4 hours today. Due to one person was working in the back named Taylor. I love her and she is such a good sport about it but thee line was ridiculous and long all the way to the check in desk. Thanks to Taylor she got me in and out like it was nothing. She really deserves a promotion or something cause she really does work hard and does it without a sweat. Such amazing incredible lady. I only am giving onestar due to the line and waiting 4 hours total.
The staff at CSL Plasma has always been friendly, and fast. They are very nice people, especially Katie. Everytime I see her she puts a smile on my face and she's always smiling.
Their customer service isn't that great. I was told I could qualify for an extra new donor bonus. But no one seemed to know what I was talking about. And some of them were unwilling to find the answers I had about this extra bonus. Once time had passed all of a sudden several people knew more about it. This is another place that really doesn't appreciate patrons. Of course there are homeless people that donate plasma for money. I'm sure some of them aren't so nice. Oh and if something goes wrong. They place the blame on you. Don't try and expect any sympathy or empathy. They don't care if you are nervous, have anxiety, and worried about you and your body and what's happening. You live with the bruising from their bad attitudes. 4/22/24 Up date. They got new mechanics but the wait has gotten longer. The attitudes with staff members has not improved. Stop firing good people. Maybe you should look at the managers for the cause of the poor performance of employees. Loose the ATTITUDES. Us donors are the " CUSTOMER!!! " Treat us with the same respect YOU DEMAND.
One thing that I learned from here, is to NOT go on an empty stomach!! The very first time I went was six months ago, and I experienced it all… I was very light headed and felt like passing out, and was very dizzy… come to find out, I didn’t eat anything the night before or the morning of and I had gotten really scared to back; I finally went again AFTER six months and ate this time around and everything went well! I had to re do everything which is understandable, and I want to say that the whole staff was great! I do remember talking with Liz, and she was great! I also remember seeing Sean around and him helping around where I was, and this beautiful soul of a lady who I believe is Mary Ann or Leeann and she was so nice! Also today, I got a call and normally I don’t answer unknown calls but I did and I was a bit guarded by it, for who is going to call me, and it was Amy! She just called to see how I was doing and making sure I was okay! I will most definitely be recommending family and friends!!
Jackie was the worst person I have ever encountered at a business. She was working on the donor floor and was a sour prune. I will no longer support this business because she was so rude. She woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I tried to restart and get off on the right foot with her, but she did not allow that, called me young and dumb. Unfortunately, I got rude right back with her because I don’t tolerate that. I will follow through. 1/19/24
No complaints against the staff in the back of the house, but the last 3 times I've tried to donate it's been nothing but issues with check in, including being told that I couldn't donate because they couldn't recalibrate the thermometer after it read my temperature at 94 degrees - my temp was obviously not 94 degrees but they wouldn't listen to me and told me I'd have to come back another day while clearly not wanting to be there. I don't do this for the money, I do this because my family has benefitted from donated plasma and I want to do my part, but they make it really hard for something that should feel easy.
Internal fraud/identity theft! CSL Plasma had a new promotion to donors. I hadn’t donated since September, but still had the debit card they pay on. I went in march to donate, was told the debit card would still work. After donating an atm said there were no funds. Contacted bank and was informed; a CSL employee issued new visa in my name in Jan, using my identifying information, without noting a reason or going through corporate,. The “new card” was activated with a pin, and within minutes of me donating, the “new card” had been completely drained at an atm about a mile away, before I would have even been out of the parking lot. would have been fairly simple, as they keep new cards in a drawer and have our names, telephone #s, addresses, emails, and social security #s accessible all the time. They clearly need to pay me, but…. -Bank said not normal fraud but internal CSL investigation, because new cards weren’t issued in this way outside of corporate. It has been 7 days I tried several times to call and go in to speak to a different manager and everytime was told not available. Finally told go through the bank. Bank says estimated wait on investigation is 45 days. Yes. I typed 45. They have not acknowledged in any way what the bank already has. Someone with this ability to issue new cards and activate them, who also has the ability to know when one of those people is passing through the center to donate is the reason for this situation.
In all honesty I really hate that I have to do this because I read the reviews before hand that this place was terrible and I can honestly attest to that .Jackie one of the workers on the floor is an older lady, so I tried to give her some respect just baded on that, but she woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and was very rude to me. Unfortunately had to get rude back with her because I don’t tolerate that. She callled me young and dumb. Disappointed in this company and will be following through. 1/19/24
