Cucos Mexican Cafe

My family and I have been patronizing Cucos on Chantilly Pkwy. for many years. In the past several months, we have seen a steady decline in the quality of food and service. Last night we waited over an hour for our food. We asked for our check, for the drinks and dip. The manager said we didn't have to pay. We departed. This has happened several other times at Cucos in the past few months. We have been patient, thinking that they were just having a bad night. In recent visits, when the food has arrived, some family members have had to wait 10 minutes to be served, while others were nearly finished with their meal. Those not yet served said "Go ahead and eat, don't wait for me, don't let your food get cold." It was cold (when it arrived). The basic and fundamental requirements in keeping customers returning is simply not being met at Cucos: good service and quality food. When we departed last night, I told the manger we would not be returning. Again, this was not an isolated incident. There are too many choices for Mexican cuisine in and around Montgomery. We'll find another Mexican restaurant to visit on a frequent basis.

Best Mexican food around. It is so good that I go any chance I get. Also their ultimate margarita is the best my husband or I have ever had anywhere. The staff are all very accommodating & the owner is incredibly kind.

I’ve ate at a lot of Mexican Restaurants all over the southeast. I paid $9.69 for “Fajita nachos” what I got was about 12-14 cold mini pieces of chicken with melted cheese on top. The service wasn’t that great didn’t get a refill on chips or salsa. The salsa had a very strong raw onion taste I didn’t like. This is the first bad google review I’ve ever left it was that bad. I strongly discourage you from getting the nachos. Save yourself 10 bucks.

Our go-to place for Mexican food. The owners are so nice and the staff are friendly. The food is great every time.

Wish it would let me post a picture as well, but my one and only visit happened today. It's like you took my order, went into the kitchen, went out back, found a random house where someone who doesn't know how to cook and asked them to put some chips on a plate, added some horrible tasting steak, topped it with whatever cheesee you could find and put it in the microwave. How the heck are you even in business with that garbage?!?!
