Chuy's

They have really good food. I think they really go out of their way to take care of their customers by providing free chips and salsa on a bar during happy hour. It definitely makes the meal more enjoyable when you can go get some extra salsa or pico from the bar. We recently ate there on our way back home in Texas. Me and my wife split the combo fajitas for one and it was plenty of food for both of us. They where absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommended Chuy’s if you like good Mexican food.

Chuys is a great Tex-Mex location with refreshing menu options and generous portion sizes (Big as yo face burrito anyone?) along with some interesting sauces. Personally I prefer the jalapeno ranch which makes the taco salad even better but they also have a wide range from mild to hot and even include a convenient heat scale in the menu. If you are looking for a Tex-Mex location in Tuscaloosa highly recommended.

I have to start by saying that we usually always have a good server and we always enjoy our food. My hangup is the hostesses! Some of them barely speak when you come in, never ask how many or if you'd prefer a table or booth. When you go somewhere to spend your hard earned money you don't want to be treated like an inconvenience. What would it take to hire a hostess that could at least fake enthusiasm? Or at the very least appreciation. (That might be asking a bit much too. I'd honestly settle for courtesy)

Food is excellent but service was extremely slow. Everytime I've been the people were super friendly but it took 30 minutes or more to get our food. Ordering for pickup was much better.

I love this place. The service and food are always excellent. It is moderately priced. Always a good time!
