Rosie's Mexican Cantina

Years ago, Rosies was my go to place. The food tasted homemade and I just couldn't get enough. Although the food is still great quality, it has changed and tastes more commercialized. I still like to go there for the ambiance and choices. Love their Margaritas!

Good shrimp tacos. Kinda like bang bang shrimp in soft tortillas. Good top shelf margaritas. And really good deluxe cheese dip

Rosie's catered a wedding I recently attended. The rice and beans were bland as paper and the taco bar was nothing to rave about. The servers were good about watching the buffet to make sure nothing runs out, but that's about the only good thing I can say...

Wow!!! My family and I went to dinner here last night and we had an amazingly awesome experience! We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated since we went during their peak time, but it was well worth it. Everyone was polite, our server was outstanding, he never let our drinks get to the half way point, food temp was hot, seasoned perfectly and came out quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. Their menu prices were very reasonable as well. We will definitely be going back, and we highly recommend them to anyone who loves Tex-Mex food and a fun and friendly environment!!! 2/5/18-We have been here 4 times now, we always get seated in Virgin's section (if you want a fantastic and hilarious server, he's your guy!) and everytime we have dined it feels like we are VIP customers! I am telling you they are absolutely the BEST!!! This is our favorite restaurant and if anyone eats here who's never been before, it definitely will be yours too!!!! Thank you Rosie's for being AMAZING!!!! VIRGIL YOU ROCK!!!

I would highly recommend this restaurant. I took my date here to dinner before going to see the Last Jedi on opening night. This was a Thursday night and it was prime dinner time. We had hit the ever present Huntsville traffic caused by the ever present road construction. Our movie started promptly at 7 and we arrived there at 6. Once seated I told the waitress we were in a bit of a hurry and we went ahead and ordered food with our drinks. I'm not kidding, it wasn't even five minutes later and our food was out to us, hot and fresh. I don't know if we got bumped ahead in the line, or if they have The Flash cooking for them, or someone is in possession of a Time Turner, but that was the fastest I have ever gotten food at any restaurant. Highly recommend this place, staff was friendly and considerate. Guacamole is quite excellent and the shrimp tacos are indeed something to write home about. The next time you get a hankering for high quality Mexican, do yourself a favor and give the fine people at Rosie's your business.
