A not to miss outdoor retreat when museum hopping. Adjacent to The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Cullen Sculpture Garden is an amazing collection. Free to the public, the vibe is tranquil and relaxing. Most folks enjoying day reading, lunching in the quiet garden.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
It's a nice sculpture garden to walk around and view all the different sculptures surrounding the garden. Or sit in the patio tables with umbrellas and enjoy a drink. It's usually quiet in the late weekday evenings. Good for kids as well. Aug 15Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
A great place to walk through and kill an hour of time. Good place for a photoshoot but I guess you're supposed to have a permit.... I'd come back if I were in the areaVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
The outdoor sculpture was great, but we went on a cloudy n drizzling day n a little chilly. It would have been awesome if it was sunny. Love the art museum n the history.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$21–30
Great and well maintained sculpture garden. Has many sculptures to see with lots of seats and tables to hang out. Adjacent to the cloud sculpture and water feature. Worth the walk!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
It is not as large as we had hoped, it's extension of the places around it. I would say it's more of an outdoor dining area with sculptures. It is very nice still yet. It is a lovely place, especially to eat at
Beautiful garden! Security guards rude and not friendly at all towards children. One made a point to tell me to tell my son not to touch the statues, my son was right next to me. It is possible to talk to a child directly. Owners should have a chat with guards.
Unbelievable sculptures all around. There's plenty of tables and chairs if you want to enjoy lunch or just take a break to enjoy the sights. I also love that there's a free little library close by!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree

The Lillie and Hugh Cullen Sculpture Garden is a free outdoor sculpture garden with beautiful works located at the Museum of Fine Arts. Not especially big, and it won't take you long to view the whole thing, but there are some really nice items. It’s a must see if you are in the Huston area. Designed by artist and landscape architect Isamu Noguchi, the garden consists of 25 works of the MFAH, including sculptures by Henri Matisse, Alexander Calder, David Smith, Frank Stella, and Louise Bourgeois.
