Still a vegetarian and i tried the veggie burger here to. I must say it was pretty good. Quality products and the ability to customize your burger in any way you want makes it a great spot to eat. I didn't really like the fries they were big, soft, and luke warm. The price is lofty in my opinion but like i said it was a pretty good burger.
A solid choice for Terminal A eating at DCA. They have breakfast options too, eggs were cooked to order, with a couple meat options and breakfast potatoes which weren’t covered in any flour or anything, so naturally gluten free. The workers were kind and patient as well, which is always appreciated in an airport setting. Price is as expected for airport food.
If the burger didn’t taste so good, I probably wouldn’t eat here again. Backhanded comment right? The ordering via QR code is a joke, especially for the 3 elderly people I saw struggling to figure things out. I digress. I ordered a double w bacon. Got a single. Sent back. Got a double burger with no bacon. Sent back. Got the bacon. Almost missed the flight and should have got a refund for all the back and forth.
My very first Custom Burger experience was the absolute worse! The manager or whatever his position is; was very unprofessional. Do not patronize this place. I paid for 2 turkey burgers and onion rings and waited for the food I purchased. I was then told by the rude manager/worker pictured below that onions weren't available. I was offered fries, and did not want fries. I asked what can you offer for my inconvenience, he replied, "nothing." I then asked for a refund of the onion rings, he sarcastically said to my wife and I, " oh it ain't a problem....easy fix." He then handed me a refund receipt and sarcastically said, here you go, and walk back up to were you purchase the food and someone will assist you. I stated to him, as a person in a leadership role, he should have apologized for any inconvenience and attempted to at least remain professional and maintain the integrity of the company's brand. The end result, I politely asked for a complete refund. His response to me was, "you ain't hurting me none!" I remain calm as my wife rubbed my back, we were then approached by another employee, more professional, and apologized for any inconvenience and refunded me my purchase back on my card. I am still here at Regan National Airport 12/16/2021, and very hungry, but I refuse to pay for weak and unprofessional service.
Tiny little cheese burger for $6.50 and is dried. McDonald's do a better job than them and taste better. This place is a joke but only option for burger inside the terminal.Food: 2/5
food is fine, employees are terrible. super rude employees- they forgot to put the free toppings on my burger onions and pickles, and when i went back up the woman working there told me i had to bring my burger back to prove that there were no toppings on it. i then bring it back and the employee starts arguing with me and saying that i brought the wrong burger back i didn’t- they just did not recognize the burger because it had none of the toppings that i ordered. i had to walk back and forth 3 times from my gate to prove i ordered the burger with the complimentary onions and pickles. finally, after realizing i was not lying about the burger they finally gave me the toppings. i received no apologies for the inconvenience and for their insinuation that i was lying to get some free pickles and onions. absolutely ridiculous! after i told them i’ve never had to deconstruct my food before to prove they forgot the ingredients, the employee just completely ignored me.i wish i got the name of the employee that i talked to because she was extremely rude hispanic female with long, wavy brown hair . the rest of the workers seemed okay but they were incredibly slow & incompetent. i even witnessed some food safety violations employee on his phone/ wiping nose with gloves then assembling food with the same gloves on.
Michael was the most helpful and by far the most happy, friendly associate we have ever encountered at an airport… his smile exuded that he is filled with the God give spirit. Burgers and onion rings were great too!
Looks like their recipes call for NO SALT. Got myself a Ciao Torino Veggie Burger and Crinkle Fries. Both were salt-less. Custom Burgers looked like the only decent option at Terminal A and that too turned out to be disappointing.
The burger tasted good but was very small. Fries were completely without salt and none was furnished. Service was very poor, rude Ordering was awkward, the tablet app was poorly laid out.Food: 3/5
I tried their only vegetarian option. Use one of the two tablets to place your order but watch out - fries added to your order by default unless you remove them. It was efficient and quick, I waited no longer than 3-4 minutes. It's one of those places where you pick all the stuff you want and go to a common checkout to pay for everything you want to buy. That also means overpriced food does not come with a place to sit. You can just enjoy your food at the gate sitting between a millennial with a headphone and another passenger stuffing their face with pizza. The burger looked little sad see photo but the taste was actually not bad. It wasn't the veggie patty but the tomato sauce that saved the day. It wasn't $8-good, however. I wouldnt eat here again unless it is the only vegetarian option.
