Well... the location is in a corner of a terminal, no seating, and dim lighting. Thr staff is friendly and service was fast. However, I know the name is smashburger...but my burger shouldn't be smashed, barely cooked cheese, and the tots dripping grease for $16.00 .. the two stars are for thr staff. But the overall experience was not good. Will not return.
Waited 30 minutes on a burger and fries. They weren't even busy. No one spoke English. Definitely not worth stopping.Service: 1/5
Very friendly staff, I felt welcomed by the cashier. Very attentive to the orders. I witnessed the expeditor lady made sure my burger is cut in half as requested prior to handling it to me. Classic smash burger was great with fresh vegetables, no extra charges. I loved the food and my experience at Smashburger!
Service was great & my order was made fast! However, food quality was really not worth the money, even w my lowered standard since it's a busy airport location. I ordered a double specialty burger one with Swiss cheese and mushroom. The food quality was really, really poor. The cheese wasn't even melted and the buns were soaking wet & it felt like they just slapped everything in carelessly it was very messy & difficult to hold and eat also where's my mushroom : . Hopefully it gets better!
I ordered chicken tenders and tator tots. They weren't as warm and fresh as I'd hoped, but still good. The male cashier I had was friendly and personable!Food: 4/5
Fantastic burgers. Fantastic. Everything is made to order so wait is necessary. Well worth the wait. I had the truffle mushroom Swiss and my family had the classic smash burger.Food: 5/5
Bad!!! They literally just sd to me “only chic fngrs & French fries”, and when I asked is this normal in an airport restaurant where the rent the owners must be paying is astronomical he replied, “ yes it is normal when it’s slow and we close at 7pm.” It was 6:22pm and I watched them turn away at least 8-10 ppl within a 5 minute time period. It’s incredible what unmanaged employees will do when their owner rarely shows or is badly managed. I told him I actually walked way out of the way just to get a smashburger instead of 5guys or a couple others I passed just to get here. He is only response was “sorry.”
Chose because the line was short. There were 3 people in line ahead of me. It took 15 minutes to get my food. They were making one burger about every 2 minutesFood: 5/5
The DCA airport location either had nothing i.e. was out of almost everything on their limited menu or the staff didn't care to go make or stock it, as everything I tried to order simple chicken fingers and a milkshake the lady just shook her head and said we don't have it. Since there isn't anything on their menu other then burgers or chicken fingers and milkshakes or soda I had to wonder why they were even open. I had to go get a coffee roll from Dunkin Donuts
The workers were rude as heck, the worker that was giving our order said our food was only going to take 5-7 minutes, but it took over 20 minutes, the worker said that we just ordered right after we requested to cancel the order. These guys and the old guy at the counter are just out for money, and they have the worst customer service that I've ever witnessed. I warn you, do not order from this place, ever. The food also doesn't taste that great. They also forgot the onions. The burger was okay, though. I ordered the Double Bacon Smash, I think that was the name. Edit: I forgot to mention that we were super late for our flight because of the time it took to make the food.
