Everything was really great about the class, the instructors are really friendly and I love how you can measure your performance and they show your statistics electronically. I really hate how they advertise the happy hour but then make no effort to convene people together. Sometimes groups will only invite the people they like and exclude some members. There’s one obnoxious guy that’s especially guilty, his name is Vinod. It sucks when you don’t get invited. I know it’s extremely bitter of me but at least I get to leave this negative review. Small consolation.
CycleBar Sawyer Heights is an excellent studio. The staff are welcoming and friendly and helped us get set up when we were new to the studio. We rode with most of the instructors and had a good experience with all of them. My wife and I especially enjoyed Katie A’s classes. Overall, I highly recommend Cyclebar to anyone wanting to try a spin class or get a new cardio workout.
Thoroughly enjoyed my spin experience at CycleBar. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and the check-in process was very simple. The class was a great workout and I thought the instructor was great at keeping the energy high. Facilities overall are top of the line. Will definitely be back!
I am surprised that I love this so much. The instructors are the perfect balance of challenging and encouraging. The class adds in arms to make it a full body workout and has a personal reflection song in the dark. They provide free shoe rentals and a towel, so all you need is your water bottle.
I tried this Cyclebar in Sawyer Heights and it was awesome! The instructor Katie was energetic, motivating, fun and the class went by super fast. Loved her workout routine. What a difference in the quality and caliber of people they hire at Sawyer Heights compared to Cyclebar in Katy which had a very poor instructor. Sawyer Heights was a positive experience and the instructor Katie made the class really fun and interesting. The employee Lissa was very nice also and even gave me a free water bottle for my first time there. You will get a great workout in Katie's class! I highly recommend her.
Full disclosure: I took the class to apply for job and was not hired. This is based on my experience and why I decided to continue cycle classes elsewhere. 1 Early morning classes are awesome and the everyone is super nice. 2 I never done cycle classes before and was not able to adjust on the seats. Maybe that was on purpose but the pain leads to my problem. 3 The instructor was nice, but straight off of the planet fitness commercial. She nagged me the whole time about falling behind. I received the "Hiss of shame" every time I was trying to catch my breath. It was not encouraging and honestly discouraged me from returning as I know I'm not doing enough. My bottom hurt and I am unfamiliar with the movements. 4 No one, even knowing I never done this before, explained the way to adjust bikes or even bothered to ask if I needed any help. 5 They don't let you in the classroom until about 3 minutes before the class. That didn't give me any time to figure it out for myself. All that to say, I would not return here as I don't want to be shamed for my inexperience. Edit: I am absolutely sure this is the correct location as I wanted to be fair. I waited 2 months and these were the only experience I took from it. There are several things left out. The instructor was nice as everyone was, but even though it was dark Malfunction I left out the constant "Left side come on. You're falling behind." Feels different when your the only one on the left side.
Hands down my favorite spin class and overall workout experience! The studio was very clean and the staff went completely out of their way to make sure I knew where everything was. I was impressed from the moment I walked in and they greeted me by my first name. There’s a big difference in great customer service and average customer service. I immediately said, oh no I forgot my water and she said “it’s ok, we have a bottle in your locker waiting for you.” Plus, the instructor knew it was my first CycleBar class and made sure to make me feel comfortable! I’d honestly give 10 stars if I could. It’s very rare you find this quality of employees that care about what they’re doing! It makes me want to become an instructor - maybe I’ll take a few more classes before I apply
They make me feel at home. They are super helpful all the time and have amazing customer service from both a front desk standpoint and instructor standpoint. Never have I felt judged or unwelcome. They push without making you feel a certain type of way. The workout is amazing as well. I found my workout home.
Not enough can be said for the instructors and staff at CB-Sawyer Heights, they are always positive, energetic, and kind. They bring out the best in you and want to help you achieve any goal you have in mind. Their theme rides are always a blast, and leave you exhausted but pumped! I personally enjoy the daily 5:30 classes with Caitlin, and Haley, both of these ladies focus on personal growth and bring a positive message to start the day. I wouldn't be where I am now without all of the support that the instructors bring. The lead instructor Meg is always there to kick your butt into gear and encourages you to never give up and always push forward. If you are an experienced cyclist needing a new challenge, or a beginner just looking to start a fitness journey, give CycleBar a try and Rock Your Ride!
Amazing instructors, super friendly staff more than happy to help in any way for your ride. Always get a tough, fun workout! Facilities are great too - easy to use lockers, showers, etc.
