my visit to Washington was exceptional thanks to the tour bus company DC Trails. The tour guides and drivers were well mannered and polite and gave us the courtesy we expected from a tour. We Highly recommend the 24 hour Hop on Hop off service tour....great app for getting on and off at the right time and knowing where we were during the tour.

DC Trails , was not just a tour bus that points out different historical buildings and monuments. It was an experience, our tour guide was knowledgeable , funny and passionate about American history . The night tour was the highlight of our trip . Henry gave us factual information that we don’t always learn from our American History class. If you were born in the USA you will fall in love with your country.If you are visiting the USA you will understand our values of hard work, charity and sacrifice. I highly recommend to download the App as it will give you accurate information on where your bus is located. Thank you, and big hug to the crew, and our favorite driver Charlie .

At 7:50am today (5/26/2018), I observered DC Trails bus 1502 run a red light deliberately at the corner of Harrison and Grove Ave in Richmond, Va. The bus was headed south on Harrison, came to a full stop and I crossed the street in front of the bus. The bus started inching forward while I was in the crosswalk (I consider this aggressive as a pedestrian). After I was across, the driver turned left on a 2 way street when his/her signal was red. I was appalled that the driver would do that with a bus full of students.

We purchased the groupon for DC Trails last week and did the tour on August 25 as a group of 3 children and 2 adults. We all really enjoyed the narration! It was informative and entertaining. We hopped off to explore on our own a couple of times and had no trouble getting back on a bus in a reasonably short amount of time. The whole tour was quite long and included lots of stops. It was a great value and I would highly recommend this tour company!
