D.I.'s | Cajun Restaurant

This is the essential Cajun restaurant. We love the location. Great drive to the restaurant that is not near anything. The appetizers are great. The catfish supreme is awesome and boiling room potatoes are crazy good. You can count on everything tasting great and consistent everyday. I know this may not matter to some, but the sweet tea is great. Sweet tea is a southern must and every restaurant needs to get on board and serve fresh cane sugar sweet tea. This is a fun and family driven restaurant. A must stop on the seafood restaurant list.

Always have the best food and time. Get there early if you don't want to have to wait otherwise be prepared for a possible wait time (worthwhile). Live Cajun band kicks off around 7 and the music will get you to spinning around the dance floor working off that crawfish etouffee and oysters you just ate. The waitstaff are super friendly and very helpful. Never had a bad time or meal. It's definitely worth the drive to the middle of nowhere.

The drive to get us there was long the wait to get into this place was the lonest I ever waited to eat anywhere and I was thinking maybe the food will be exceptional. My food was a combination plate and the fried food tasted like it was just flour and no salt at all. My husband's plate was all fried and he said the same. The other people in our party didn't complain to us but you could tell they didn't like their meal very much either. The parade that went through the place was very loud and what was with the whipping people in this traditional event.. odd. The music was very good and we liked that. The staff was friendly and very attentive.

MY DAD HAS BEEN PLAYING MUSIC HEAR FOR YEARS!! SO I HAVE BEEN GOING HERE FOR A LONG TIME AND IT IS MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT!! THE FOOD IS ALWAYS ON POINT AND THERE IS NOTHING ON THE MENU THAT IS NOT GOOD. EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS AND FRESH. I LOVE THE FACT THAT YOU CAN ORDER THE BUCKETS OF BEER AND THAT THEY HAVE LIVE CAJUN MUSIC. THE WHOLE PLACE SCREAMS LOUISIANA! IT IS IN THE MIDDLE OF NO-WHERE AND TAKES A GOOD LIL DRIVE BUT THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE AND STAND OUT FROM THE REST. ITS DEFIANTLY WORTH THE DRIVE!!

This place is Fantastic! This was our first visit. Authentic Cajun experience. Highly recommend!
