We absolutely loved this place! Upon walking in, we were greeted by friendly staff. The atmosphere is genuine and delightfully authentic, from the live Zydeco music to the bayou art and decor. This was an hour before closing time, so this was a lovely surprise. We chose to sit in the bar area, and it was perfect! Our server Barbara was very helpful in assisting us in deciding what to try, as all their food and drink selections all looked amazing! We had the Rockefeller Bake and Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms from the appetizer menu, along with a fried oyster Caesar salad and a cup of seafood gumbo. It was all legendary! Barbara also was able to suggest a local beer for my husband, and I had one of their home-made spicy bloody Marys. We both are still talking about it and can't wait to pass through on vacation again so we can go there! Prejean's does not disappoint! What a gem (I'd give it 6 stars if I could)!

Food was amazing. I only had one thing that didn’t go well with me but it may have just been a bad day for that. The staff I dealt with was very pleasant and the food was quickly served. I liked how once a customer left it didn’t take long at all for them to clean the tables. It was a loud but nice atmosphere .... I enjoyed it.

This was not only great food but an awesome experience. I was visiting some family in the area and stopped in here for a bite to eat. The server was very attentive and did not make us feel rushed. All employees were very welcoming. Additionally, three gentlemen were on the stage performing. It was a great experience and look forward to eating here next time we visit.

Great decor and great food. I had the shrimp gumbo and world champion chicken and sausage gumbo with a side of red beans and rice. I'm from AZ so this was one of my bucket list things to do, go to Louisiana and eat real Cajun food. I did it. I enjoyed my time and the live group did well before I left. Unfortunately, I could not give 5 stars because the service was below average, no customer service skills, no checking on our drinks, and when one of us asked for another beer she never asked the rest of us yet two others were empty. Although we sat right at kitchen walkway she was not attentive and I feel her performance did not meet the level as everything else. Needs training or they need to remember there are millions looking for work that would be more than happy to take her place im sure.
