Dana's team does amazing! I had no problems with the leasing Managers or maintenance fixing issues. Early on they didn't give notice about repairs, but I made a comment and that changed. Dana herself makes it incredibly hard to contact her, took so much of my deposit back for things that were not my fault like replacing window screens that were already cracked when I moved in. The place was so dirty when I moved in and there was random-weird sticky places on some doors and cabinets. As a whole, I think this property manager is terrible and I will never rent from her again.
I wish I could give Dana Mann a lower score than 1 star, because I would give them 0 or even negative. Do not rent from them, they are slumlords that do not care about their tenants or their property. After years of living in our apt, and being good tenants, Dana Mann/Marcon refuses to work with us and just let us out of our lease. I've paid my rent on time every single month apparently that's a rarity in our complex as we've been told lots of people pay late my apt is clean and well taken care of, I've brought you 2 tenants 1 who just signed another year long lease and is a good tenant we are quiet and have overall been good tenants. I'm always keeping you in the loop of when things are going on in the complex as well. We've also put up with a lot of things over the years including, trash bins that are always overflowing and having to text to ask for them to be emptied, washing machines that are constantly broken dryers too not to mention tenants leaving their clothes in the washers and dryers for over a week, my storage being broken into and having to reach out to them for 3 days until the lock got fixed no apology was ever offered or given to me for the items that were stolen the pipe under the kitchen sink still leaks even though Randy has been there more than dozens of times to fix it he caused the pipe to burst flooding the cabinet twice the shower faucet that has broken so many times I've lost count, the leaky toilet that again has been fixed so many times I lost count, the mold in that bathroom that was painted over rather than being taken care of properly, when my bathroom cabinet broke I was accused of ripping it off the wall not sure how anyone could do that, and you can see in the pictures that the wood expanded from humidity causing it to break when my husband fell down the steps Dana tried to say that the steps were cleaned so she didn't have to pay for the hospital bills we took pictures w/timestamps to prove that the stairs were covered w/ice and snow we could've sued but we never did, there are too many winters to count were the snow wasn't removed and tenants cars were getting stuck in the parking lot. I was accused of having a fight with my husband when I was out of the state, so there was no way we could've had a fight and had to beg and plead for a "note" to be placed in my "file". The fight was our next door neighbor who ended up having the police come to her apt the next morning due to a fight she was having with her boyfriend. These are just a few of the things that have happened over the years. All we wanted was to get out of our lease early and/or pay month to month while we were in the process of purchasing a house. i was open and honest with them and they didn't care. It's a horrible and awful place to live.
If I could click no stars and still submit a review, I would. I had an out of town couple in Omaha for two days. They needed to find a home to rent and we called Dana to see if I could show them a property managed by her company. Since I am a licensed Realtor, she was skeptical. I assured her that I expected no compensation and she agreed to call me back with a time I could show. After several hours, I called her back. She proceeded to be very short with me, stating that they didn't have any agent to meet us at the home in the next 36 hours. She ended up hanging up on me in the middle of our conversation. Luckily, a friendlier landlord allowed me to show them a lovely duplex represented by a another company and they ended up finding a place to live. Clearly, Dana and her company do not understand the service industry.
Moved in with a broken dishwasher, moved out with a broken dishwasher.. Everything in the apartment was in such poor shape when we moved in, and any time I requested maintenance, they wouldn’t fix it completely and would end up having to call them back. Dishwasher had leaked onto my kitchen several times, and was never able to use it for actual dishes. Have been trying to move out since end of September, and had moved into a new apartment and was made to stay all of October. Didn’t argue, called the main office, and was told the amount I owed at the end of October according to the lady i had spoken with on the phone, only to find out it was due on the 5th and I was 2 weeks late trying to scramble together all of the money i hadn’t been expecting to pay. I am officially moved out and have called the main office during office hours, never to receive someone on the other line. Have left a message with my name and phone number so I can figure out if I owe anything else so I can put this apartment behind me and forget it. Still haven’t received a call back and don’t know if I need to pay anything for the damages in the apartment.
I'd rather put no stars. Dana and the way she runs her company is ridiculous every person in their office is rude and the main one is Dana. Parking lots are never plowed, dryer wasn't fixed for weeks even though many calls were made and when I called and said I was not pleased with the way they treat people Dana herself laughed and said well there's no way to get out of your lease and hung up then blocked my phone number.
They care about your money only. My bedroom flooded multiple times, finally the "allowed me" to move upstairs to another apartment at a higher rate. Still charged me for BS cleaning fees twice. I parked my car in a "garage" that was basically a plywood shack. Glad I left! Never had any run ins with Dana Mann so I can't speak to that side of things personally
The worst property management i have ever dealt with. I had constant issues and never felt like they were handled properly, promptly, Or professionally!!! I had problems with my ac and they took days to come. I told them it wasn't fixed when they said it was 3 times! I waited almost 2 weeks one summer with no AC on the 3rd floor! Finally they thought to give me a portable ac unit for one room. Then when it was fixed, i had no warning and no call, i was sleeping and a maintenance man came to retrieve the portable and he said he knocked but it wasn't heard. I was sleeping without clothing and the man entered my room and i woke up and asked what he was doing. He then continued walking in to my room and said he was just going to get the ac unit. I YELLED NO YOURE NOT YOURE GOING TO LEAVE AND GIVE ME A MOMENT TO DRESS MYSELF. It was a nightmare!!! Another maintenance man told me another time when he seen my guitar that i would have to play for him sometime and make him a steak dinner. A SINGLE GIRL LIVING IN HER APARTMENT FEARING BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I CANNOT BELIEVE THE PEOPLE THEY HIRE!!!! Then no warning to any residents with cars in the lot that there was going to be cleaning crews cleaning up all the rock and sand from the parking lots were going to be there! The heavy machinery was chucking rocks at the parked cars and i'm sure doing paint damage to all of them! I called and asked why we didn't recieve a notice so we could move our vehicles if we chose and they said they couldn't do anything about it and mocked me saying sorry your car got dirty..... !!!!!!!!!!! Also they started towing cars that hadn't been moved in 3 days time. Really?! 3 days?! I could go on and on and on. Ive been mocked, called a liar, told that there's nothing they can do, taken advantage of, ripped off $ wise, and felt violated with these owners. I do not advise any one to move here! Good luck getting a deposit back too.
Their service here is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone at all. I’m surprised they still have tenants. Once you move out, they charge you for cleaning and replacing things that should be done before a new tenant moves in anyways. $130.00 to replace blinds? Just ways to keep your deposit.
last two years we have been surprised with exponential rate increases. A small increase is expected 70 dollars over the last two years is insane. Apartment manager is great but the Management Company Dana Mann has made it obvious recently that they only care about money and not loyal tenants. Renter Beware
