I live there for almost 15 years had to move because my wife died and there is a rent too much for me to stay any longer
You could not pick a worse place to lease. The management is awful, our leasing agent was extremely rude and the maintenance staff were clearly not trained or knowledgeable on how to do their jobs. They also reeked of BO anytime they entered the apartment. The linoleum flooring used in the units is the cheapest flooring money can buy and WILL rip no matter what. Our cars were broken into and when we let the office know so they could check the security footage they said nothing and never got back to us. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Please, whatever you do, find somewhere else to live.
Overall a pretty great experience here so far! We moved into our unit about 3 months ago. The unit is builder's quality but not outdated. Hook ups for washer/dryer in unit. Office staff are helpful, nice playgrounds for the kids to play on, and maintenence is pretty responsive. No size limits on dogs, pet rent and deposit are reasonable. Everyone has been fairly friendly as well.
i loved this place so much. I lived there since 2017/2019? with my parents and had the best childhood! im now 15 and cant believe time flies by so fast. Although, i would give 5 stars but the kids/teenagers there were really rude. I know this probably has nothing to do with the place but i still had some bad times there and the staff were kind of rude too.
I absolutely love it here! I’ve been here for going on 2 years. The staff is SO friendly and my neighbors are so kind. They even do fun family/tenant projects- decorate your door this month for a prize, Halloween trick or treating last month, etc. I definitely recommend!
While living here my car has been broken into several times, attempted stolen once. My boyfriends car was successfully stolen and we got the police involved especially since the security here is useless. In the spring there was serious flooding and sewage backed up in the bathroom keeping the bathroom sink clogged for several days. The carpet was ruined but they refused to replace it, sprayed “mold away” and said it would be fine. Then I caught them illegally entering my townhome, unannounced and without permission. They lied and said I requested them to “fix my dishwasher” when I never did. When I’ve tried communicating with the landlord I’m avoided and left with no answers on to why they entered my property. I would never recommend anybody to live here it is unsafe and falling apart.
When I moved here for the first time, leasing office explained that we can pay the rent by using credit card. I tried to do several times and found out that the system set up actually does not allow residents to pay rent by credit card and Seldin company needs to fix it. Surprisingly, the local leasing office staff did not realize it and they promised that the company will fix it as soon as possible but nothing happens for one month. And they did not give me a clear answer to the status. When logging in the website, there are all different types of credit card logo Amex, Visa, and Master but it does not work. I think Seldin company should fix this system OR REMOVE the option and need to explain that "we ACTUALLY are not accepting any credit card". I am disappointed with their unprofessional attitude for this important issue.
Good luck reaching their leasing office. You can try and call them multiple times, at different hours of the day, and will still most likely reach a voice mail. On top of that the leasing agents will not communicate via email in a timely matter what so ever.
I tried with great efforts to get in contact with someone and when I finally do they lie to me and tell me that they had nothing available when they had openings listed not only on apartments.com but also on their website! I can’t believe anyone willingly lives here with such poor management. I’m severely disappointed with my interaction and hope others don’t waste their time here.
