Dance Reverie - DUMBO

My wife and I took about 10 dance lessons with Kyle and he was a fantastic instructor who made us feel confident from day one. We felt that his approach was extremely intuitive and practical, always with an eye on being realistic with goals. He was honest about not overcomplicating the dance based on his experience with couples and knowing that couples always get nervous and are susceptible to tripping up on the big day. Kyle prepared us thoroughly and his approach really paid off because our dance turned out fantastic and our mistakes were minimized and controlled. As a teacher, Kyle was humorous and friendly, which put us at ease and helped us relax and focus. He was very patient and creative in his solutions to questions and issues. Kyle was also extremely flexible with his scheduling and ability to meet at hours and at a frequency that matched our busy schedule. Thanks to Kyle, my wife and I were able to learn a beautiful waltz dance within a short period of time that we never thought we would've been able to learn. It made our wedding day so special, and we received so many compliments from our friends and family. We had a fun and wonderful experience working with Kyle, and we would recommend him and Dance Reverie in a heartbeat!

Kyle is the best!!!! Start your lessons 1 year before you get married!!! Or ASAP!!!! Dance class became a fun date night for us. Your first dance is a special moment that I wanted to be meaningful and spectacular!! Everyone was so impressed with our dance but more importantly, it made me feel really good that as a couple we were able to pull off this incredible dance together. It created a very romantic fun vibe that lasted throughout the night. Full disclosure - before I took dance classes I literally hated dancing. I always felt very awkward. Kyle is an incredible Teacher and is very patient. I very quickly started to love going to dance class!!! Kyle can teach anyone and I had 0 experience. Kyle really knows how to make the classes fun. I love dancing now. My husband and I will be continuing dance classes for many years to come.

SO HAPPY we made the decision to do these lessons!! My husband and I had Kyle as our instructor and took a total of 6 lessons beginning just a few weeks before our wedding day. Each lesson built off the last one which allowed us to pick it up quickly. At the end of our lessons we felt confident and excited to show off what we had learned. We also had a lot of fun practicing on our own. Working with Kyle was a pleasure and he made it a fun and enjoyable activity for us in the middle of our wedding planning chaos. When we finally performed our routine our guests went wild and were totally blown away, and we have Kyle to thank for that. We definitely recommend you do it. It made our wedding so much more exciting and enjoyable!

Kyle is the best instructor ever. He’s super patient and very knowledgeable. We learned our dance in just 4 sessions and everyone in the wedding loved our dance. Thank you Kyle so much for making our wedding experience even better!

We started at Dance Reverie a few weeks ago and it has made such a difference!!! Working with Kyle has drastically improved our dancing and confidence on the dance floor before our wedding we knew nothing. Kyle really takes the time to help us learn and improve in each class. He has been extremely friendly and easy to learn from! Since my fiance and I both work during the week they have been extremely accommodating with our schedules as well, so I highly recommend them if you work but need lessons on week nights! Overall we made the best choice before our wedding coming here and I highly recommend!

Kyle is amazing!!!! Dance class has been one of our favorite parts of wedding planning and it honestly took away so much of the stress that goes into planning a wedding. Every week we look forward to our lessons and feel so confident for our first dance. My fiance and I definitely lack rhythm and Kyle has made it so fun for us. He choreographed a dance that looks natural and is very us there's nothing I hate more than watching a couple do the box step at their wedding. I highly recommend using Kyle for lessons for you first dance or even if you just want to learn some new moves!

When my fiance and I decided to take dance lessons to prepare for our first dance at the wedding, we walked into the studio and it was an impressive first impression. It was lovely, nicely decorated, and very clean. They offered us a FREE FULL 1 hour private lesson and we tried it. For a couple who did not much time and zero dance experience, it was the best stress-free time in our wedding planning. Kyle was our teacher and he was incredibly encouraging, creative, and very patient. He prepared every lesson particularly for our preferences in moves and dips, and we had a fun time. Kyle also put me in a WEDDING LONG SKIRT TO IMITATE A DRESS, so that my fiance got a full feeling how the dance will be at the day of our wedding. Now I feel like we have a beautiful first dance, accounting for the length of my dress, and the ability to get nice photos. We can also spend more time on the dance floor, which we planned to avoid at first. If you're panicking about your first dance or just wanted to learn how to dance, definitely come here!!!!

My husband and I were debating on a special first dance at our wedding and decided to try out Dance Reverie. Let me tell you... BEST DECISION EVER!! We worked with Kyle and he was amazing! This was the most fun we had while planning our wedding. Kyle was a fantastic teacher and so much fun to work with. Our guests were beyond impressed with our first dance and our photographers were so excited about the shots they were able to get. 100% recommend Dance Reverie to everyone! You will not regret it.

There is no one better than Kyle from Dance Reverie!! My FH and I are so thankful for him and all he has done! Taking dance lessons with Kyle has by far been our favorite part of the wedding planning process. We both started off knowing absolutely nothing about dancing and we are now one week away from our wedding and we are completely different people. We are learning and having so much fun with it. After just a few months with working with him and his amazing personality we now consider him like a friend! He relates to you and makes everything as simple and enjoyable as possible. We want to continue taking lessons with Kyle after our wedding because it has now become a fun date night for us. I HIGHLY recommend Kyle and Dance Reverie Dance Studio to any couple that is looking to have more confidence during their first dance and looking to have fun with it at the same time!

My husband and I took lessons with Kyle leading up to our wedding on 10/18/19. My husband was totally reluctant but in the end, we couldn't have been happier with our experience and after only 2 lessons, his anxiety was gone and he felt completely confident on the dance floor. Kyle was patient and helpful and a great teacher. In a total of 6 lessons, he taught us all the basics to put together a great first dance and made us feel completely at ease. Our family and friends were completely surprised. They're still raving about it. Our photographers were also thrilled and the lift Kyle taught us made for some of our favorite photos from that night. Plus, it was really great to take a break from all the stressful wedding planning each week and spend an hour dancing together. I can't recommend Dance Reverie and Kyle highly enough.
