It says on the website, google maps , etc that this location is open 24/7. Well, I have been standing outside a locked building for 20mins. Trying to get gas and use the bathroom. I totally understand wanting to clean, but if you don't accommodate your guest, you want have a establisent to clean without your guest... So a member of the staff came to the door and said they will be close for am hour so the floors can dry.....
These dash in are trash, their employees dont care, they ignore you, and if they don't feel like making your food, will just have you wait. They always have headphones in so they don't hear or understand when you talk to them. They also like to suddenly start "cleaning" and tell you they can't make you food. Save yourself the annoyance and go somewhere else.
3 stars for convenience. It was a close stop to get food and gas. The food was OK and relatively cheap. As somebody who’s never been to a Dash In before, my biggest issue was the fact that I didn’t know how it works... I was waiting for somebody to call out my order, but I guess you’re supposed to just grab it yourself from the kiosk? I tried to ask one of the workers but he ignored me maybe he doesn’t speak English, that’s ok. I just wish there was somebody or something to tell me how I’m supposed to get my food. I guess it wouldn’t be a problem if I had been to a Dash In before. My other issue was that I ordered old bay seasoned tots, but after paying I found out they only had regular tots. It’s an ok replacement but I wish I could know before I paid for it.
Stopped by at 5am the other day and they were making breakfast sandwiches. Offered on variety and I asked for a different one. They were happy to oblige and it was delicious. I’m happy to have this upgraded establishment on the outskirts of downtown. Oh, and the sandwich and coffee were just under $4. What a deal!
Whenever I go during the day it’s no problem..... but the last two times I have been at night the same young guy gives some fabricated excuse about why he can’t cook my food.... Update 2/19/20: After taking to management I was assured that the kitchen was open 24 hours and that the previous incidents were just aberrations. So I went back today on my way home from work to grab a sandwich. Unfortunately, I was not able. I was told that the kitchen was closed until 9 pm. Not sure why there is this disconnect between store policy and actual scheduling.
My wife and I visit the store often and for the most part, usually have a pleasant experience. However, last night, 4/9/20 around 8:45pm we stopped in to exchange and purchase lottery tickets, the employee who was behind the counter C, Talvindr is the name on the receipt, not sure if that is the actual employee "helping" us though was sitting down with his airbuds in, talking on the phone. When we walk up we greet him, he doesn't say a word to us, but continues to talk on the phone, doesn't even get up immediately. When he finally does, we ask him about tickets and figuring out what we want to purchase, he immediately takes the ticket we have to trade in and proceeds to cash it in after my wife telling him 3 times we would like more tickets instead of cash. The whole transaction, he acted like he didn't want to do his job, still on the phone and never said a word to us. Hopefully, we wont have to deal with him again, everyone else, is usually pretty awesome.
Staff is usually very friendly but couldn't understand why they refused to cash in my $250 lottery ticket being as though they're a lottery distributor.. I guess it's safe to say don't bring your winning lottery tickets here even if you played them here in the first place.
The food here is shockingly good, for a gas station. I'm talking about the made to order food from the touch screens. I'd venture to say it's better than some Wawa locations.
Literally every time I go here they are "closed" for a "break". How can you be a 24hr business if your staff keeps the doors closed at their discretion?
i'am someone who enjoy's a good breakfest , and i gotta say this dash in is the best breakfest spot in the city for the right price and fresh, the lady Nikki and jazzy are the one the most the best examples of good service , everyday they take care of the people who come in from working and going to work and they do there best to meet there needs, give them a raise they deserve it without them i really don't know if the dash in can keep up with the demand .
