I love how the pool has showers/locker rooms so that we can change or shower before getting in the pool. Yes the pool does get a bit crowded but it’s so big that you don’t even notice it. The water is natural spring water so it is kind of cold but it’s great during a hot summer day!!

Clean and refreshing!
Reasonable prices. Out of towners pay $8 and $4 for seniors 62+ yrs old.
Had a great time at the Deep Eddy. It was nice and cool. I love how they had a kiddy beach front area, a casual swim area, and a lap swim area.
The front desk and lifeguards were friendly.
Lockers and showers available.
I loved how you can just bring your towel or blanket and lay on the grass to sunbathe. If the sun is too hot, there are big trees with lots of shade.
The only thing they can improve on is the algae build up in the center of the pool. It was so thick that you would slip walking on it. That’s a safety hazard. The guards can scrub it during breaks or prior to opening.
Besides that, I would definitely return. I love that it was natural and no chlorine.

Deep Eddy is a wonderful place to swim in Austin. From local octogenarians getting their daily exercise, to glamorous tourists, you really will find everyone mingling here. The water is wonderful, and the open air changing room in the bath house is spacious. It's a great place to visit and soak off the stress of the traffic, especially in the early warm days of 'winter' when it isn't so crowded!

By far our most favorite pool in Austin! Summertime wouldn't be the same without this awesome pool with spring water! We absolutely love it!

Pretty beautiful spot. Not crowded, even on memorial day holiday. Bit of a hidden gem
