San Pedro Swimming Pool

My kids love it here but you're not allowed to bring in oitside food or drinks. This is a big problem when they run out of everything at the store, which happens frequently. I took the bus there and this happened so we had to leave early since my kids were hungry. But again they did like it and had a lot of fun while we were there.

I give it a 5 star rating because it’s awesome but the website says open but there’s no water in the pool. (ō—ō)

Pool drained and entire place is empty. Phone number does nothing. Great job SAN ANTONIO PARKS AND REC.

It's san Antonio. The weather is hot af. I got out of work early to take my nephew's to the pool. Once i get there it says it's closed.😡 WHY DON'T YOU UPDATE YOUR HOURS? I literally came across more than 6 families who were walking to the pool and some who were just arriving. Please save us the hassle and update.

Great public swimming pool offered by the city. No admission fees and plenty of shade because of the large trees encircling it. Coolers are allowed but there are certain food prohibitions (which can be brought in but eaten outside of the fenced area). Camping chairs can be brought in, which worked out great for towel hanging and stuff keeping. I saw that some ppl complained about the homeless folk hanging out there; while we were there we saw a couple of them there, but they just hung out and kept to themselves. In fact I would say that was the general attitude of everyone there. It was a chill crowd. I would also like to mention that they (the lifeguards) do clear out the pool for 30 minutes after 2 hours. Considering how large the pool is, it makes sense to have a check like this.
