Deep South Growlers

Not really any atmosphere at this place. Last time I was there with my wife and we could only find 2 seats left at the end of bar. Rest of the place was pretty full. We were watching someone eating pizza at the bar right in the middle of best seats. Come to find out that it was the manager. Great way to keep customers wanting to come back.

I come here for a pint or two every once in awhile, and I always enjoy doing so. Their beer selection is very good, with a number of rotating taps and occasionally a special event showcasing a local brewery (I most recently went on a Blackstone night, ended up chatting with the rep from the brewery for awhile). Mostly though I like it because, on top of the beer, it is a very chill place. Friendly folks, good beer, and not that loud bar atmosphere, I'll certainly be back.

We went on a Friday night since we didn't have the kids with us. We were sat at the end of the bar by the wall because the center was taken up by a party of three women. One of the women was a blond woman and she was drunk and loud. She had a box of pizza that she was eating taking up a lot of room at the bar as well. I found out that this was the manager! I was so turned off by the experience that I'm never going back. How does a manager conduct themselves like that in front of customers? Even if it's your night off you don't take the prime seat at the bar to customers who are paying.

Best beer place in Murfreesboro! It is the perfect place to enjoy beer whether your a true beer snob (me) or a casual drinker (my wife). The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also host many wonderful events with local and regional brewery representatives. Events are typically on Tuesday and Saturday. Follow their facebook page for details.

If you like craft beer at competitive prices in a laid back atmosphere with good customers and staff. Then this is your place! They have lots of events and there annual birthday party is always a blast!
