Degarios Italian Ristorante

I normally don't rave about restaurants, but this place is amazing. I feasted on halibut, lemon/shrimp zucchini pasta and almond/chocolate cake accompanied with a soy latte. I also had a blackberry Italian soda! They customized everything dairy-free for me, and I will definitely be back.

Great recipes, nice staff, and good atmosphere. The blackberry pizza is definitely a favorite of ours.

I really like this place. The food is excellent and home made and the people are pleasant. Not the place to go if you're in a hurry because they care about their good and preparing it for flavor. ..and the prices, esp. At lunch are reasonable. ..can't go wrong here

This place is not worth the money. Avoid at all costs. Their scallops are salty and way overcooked. The service was extremely slow. 30 minutes or more for apps, an hour for entrees. 45 minutes to order desert because no one would come by. The place had my group of 8 plus at most 2-3 other tables for dinner rush, so not overly busy. Even still, the service was slow and the food was subpar. To top it off I was the lucky recipient of some bad linguini Alfredo and was sick all night. I won't go back.

I like to support local, independent restaurants, and look for gems in the neighborhood. There are quite a few, actually, but as far as Degarios Italian Ristorante goes, I'm not sure where all the high ratings for this place are coming from, and I have to admit that lately I'm not trusting restaurant ratings online much at all. This was one of those places where you pull up to park in front and there's nobody seated inside at 7pm on a Friday night. Note to self, and everyone else: IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU, THE RESTAURANT IS EMPTY FOR A REASON. BACK THE CAR UP AND FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE. My husband and I had the worst meal here, with combinations of flavors that just DO NOT go together, and there was nothing even remotely Italian about the offerings we tasted. Just as soon as the food came to the table, we knew we'd made a huge mistake in choosing this place. In our opinion, the only thing Italian about this restaurant is the name.
