Del Mar Fairgrounds

Given tickets to the Hunter/Jumper horse show for my birthday. I thought the the Dressage show was fantastic a few years ago but this show was so up there I think I have a second favorite. Competitive, athletic........ Thank you for such well done shows.

Very nice horse racing venue. Multiple options for seating. Helpful staff. Well maintained and clean. "Sky boxes" available for private group events. The catering services provided a good meal and staffed a bar. Easy access from the I-5 and plenty of parking, including a valet for a fee.

This place is great. Plenty of parking and the little trolleys make it easy to get to your car parked in BFE. The fairground's layout is pretty simple and each event makes use of that layout in a way different way. This keeps each visit slightly unique while allowing you to memorize the overall park layout to keep your bearings.

I’ve been attending the San Diego Fair since grade school but recently went to the Fair Grounds for the Night Nation Run. Never got to experience the area when it was deserted in all the other areas despite the runners course. Enjoyed the set up and fun run course.

Very nice fairgrounds. Multiple food vendors. Amazingly small area where adult beverages may be consumed. Huge disadvantage for those of us that sip our drinks taking extended time to complete a drink. Results in the choice of not enjoying walking around the fairgrounds or discarding the drink. Just a heads-up to know the options. The selection of animals available for viewing was very limited. The live music was phenomenal! Yes, I would go again.
