Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival

This was at the Fantanisa Comic Con. It's well worth the price to go in and have a look around. Nintendo was there showing off their new game system Switch. They had several set up so people could play them.

The student exhibits and 4h were nice as always. Overall this fair needs a facelift into something more than it has been for decades. Still not bad. They get some fairly big names for the free concerts. They also have big ticket free events such as monster trucks and demolition derbys, but since they are free, you literally have to wait in line for literally hours just to get a seat. If you don't like large crowds, long waits, ethnic music or a host of other attributes, it may be best to avoid this one, and go to the LA County fair instead. It has a better overall feel.

I grew up going to this fair every year. It has changed over the years, but it is still a fun place to go. It looks like the rides for kids are improved and there are many in a large area. It seems to be less about dates than I remember, but they are still there in the Taj Mahal building. Of course, they have plenty of over priced, fried food, but I think everyone expects that. There is a wide range of activities. I think that anyone could find something interesting here.

Fun rides! Kids would love it! Yummy snacks too! But same rides and games each year.

So happy that they have really good restrooms. Lots of interesting shows. Didn't ride the rides. But they looked fun
