Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fair

The Choo Choo swap meet is one reason. Every year on the first Saturday of May, a huge seller's party. For 40 dollars one can rent a space to sell items at the fairgrounds for others to treasure and make a few hundred dollars. Set up is the day of. Opens at 0830, and it takes 3 dollars to get in. Most of the times we find something we could not part with. All kinds and of antiques, furniture, yard art, collectibles galore. Plan to come early, the line is long but the wait is worth it. The saying goes the early bird catches the worm applies.

Beautiful fairgrounds. Grassy, nice cooled buildings and for us a great event. We stayed in some of the event RV parking that offered electricity and water. It was under giant trees on beautiful green grass. I highly recommend travelling with an extension cord and hose for your RV as the hookups are centered among every four spots which could get a bit tricky.
